The regular Char-Grill, then we are driving down to the new place to scope it out, though I think the only one with an inside area is the original Char-Grill. I'm for going to other places too, though. We'll see what the majority decides tonight. I hope it's not another half-assed meet.

Well, you can count myself, Gary, Bobby, and Matt out. I just got home from the airshow and they are on their way back to Rawley. They seemed pretty tired but who knows?! You guys really missed out...Greg atleast had an excuse! I'm just a lot of you complained that we never go anywhere or never do anything...and then I pull something together and everyone bails! WTF! Anyways, I really do like the idea of finding a new hang out...maybe a pizza place if possible. What about that one some us went to in Brier Creek?

What time is the meet?

 

I think around 5:30, but people don't really start coming in until around 6.

 

I'm thinking I will make it tonight, mainly because I'm hungry and don't feel like make anything at home.
Tha air show was awesome, we got a lot of visitors to the 8-Zone (+1 RX7). Lots of questions asked, lot's of ooh and ahhs. Apperently while I had stepped away to get a drink, the others were asked how much $$ for my car (I'm glad they didn't sell it while I was away.
Anyway I'll do the pics laters and possible some video later on.

 

Count me out for the meet tonight. I just got home from the show, which was great. You guys who didn't come (not couldn't.. didn't) missed a good time. This year > last year... we got to hang out and watch people gawk at our cars all day and give rotary 101 lessons haha . We even attempted to persuade a couple to buy an 8 instead of a 6... classic.

On another subject, Nic brings up a good point that we talked about today. Everyone complains that we don't do anything but when we do, no one shows up. It's historically been that way ever since this group banded together. Almost EVERYONE who complained about our group not doing anything didn't show today. Cant complain about price... todays event was free. Just something to think about. Those of you who regularly come to events can ignore my rant... you know who you are. [/rant]

I completely forgot about the engine static display, I was gonna ask you guys if you wanted to use it. I thought Buck was coming back today but they missed their flight out of Baltimore/it got delayed, whatever, so they're not coming back til tomorrow. And I had to wash his truck today, haha. I really wish I could have made the airshow today.
