**** I've been grasping at straws for quite a while now, I feel like I'm just delaying the inevitable rebuild.
Yeah those guys have lived in the US for quite a while now. I agree, they should all hang, screw it.
I'm getting sick of having to choose not to post my signature every time, haha.

You can check the timing the regular way; a timing gun. You aim and zap the pulley where the markings are located. You are going to have a trailing mark and a leading mark. For the FC, the pulley is located on the right half of the engine bay below the location where the power steering pump would be.
I'm also with Josh (as I've said from the beginning) in thinking that it isn't the engine. There is something else that is the root cause. Bobby, Josh and Gary, I want a post-mortem debugging procedure for this rotary engine thingy, NOW!

Ok guys and girls. I have an idea. At the next meet, I'm bringing a map of North Carolina. I want everyone who is present to mark where they live. My idea is this: we should move our meeting place. Yes, I know it's a radical (meaning very different in this context) idea, but it's just a feeler. Here are my reasons: 1. Char-Grille stinks. I'm not joking. The grease pit in the back really smells like ***. 2. Due to the structure of our group changing, I think we should get a feel for where everyone is in regards to living area. 3. Fuel costs. We all like to tear *** every so often, but why spend more money for fuel for traveling to a meet? 4. We might entice more members by moving the location. Just a thought. I'm going to post an online map with my current location and if anyone feels inclined to do so, he/she is welcomed to post his/her location on the map. It doesn't have to be exact (due to stalkers), just put a little mark in the city or wherever. I'm not posting it at this time because I need to see how little or how detailed of a map I want to use for this. Please offer up any suggestions.
By the way, I'm not trying to steal anyone's thunder or try to be the "leader" of this group. I just figured I would take the initiative after thinking about this. This is still a democratic group (as if it was ever anything other than that).

By the way, if our meeting place is changed (after scouting around the optimal location) someone can notify the mods and hopefully we can have the title of this thread changed to reflect our new meeting place. Or we can have the first post edited to reflect this change.

^a strip club?
Has anyone seen the new Road & Track with talk of the new RX-7? It doesn't look too bad, better than I thought it would anyway. I can't find the main pic the magazine has though.

There's a thread on it in the lounge. Sounds like it's a pic for the Kabura or whatver it is Mazda has plans for. I still think from all I've heard and seen they will do another, sometime before 2010. It better be kick ***!

I kinda like it. I'm not crazy about the exaggerated front fenders, same thing I don't like about the 8, but the rest of it isn't bad. I'm also not sure about the one-piece windshield/roof, that's kinda weird.
I don't think Road & Track would have fallen for a photochopped Kabura pic, but I've been wrong before.

Well, I'm so ****** close to selling my car, or pushing it off a cliff.
I swapped my remote switch at Sears tonight, and the one I got works, so I checked for spark tonight...good on all plugs. I turned the car over to get all the icky out, like I usually do. Got the plugs back in, everything back together...THE BITCH STILL WON'T START!!! And on top of everything else, now I have a ******* buzzer going off in the car. W-T-F!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I checked the low coolant wire (that was the cause of the buzzing last time) and it's still good. Although I always have the coolant light on now too, and every time I check the coolant it's good. I'm really getting pissed.

Plenty, it had a full tank before it went down. Actually I'm wondering if the gas is going bad, although I put in a bottle of fuel additive, which worked last time.
