It was weird not having a rotary there. I should have driven my FB, but didn't because it currently doesnt have insurance or tags on it. Hopefully I will have an FD pretty soon. Until then Im crusin in my 4cyl Toyota Tacoma

Oh and I broke 300 miles on the new girl today! Hell, I've only had her back 4 days...by the end of the week I'll finally be able to open her up!!!

 

How many miles is the breakin? I thought it was like 2000 or something. Oh yeah, PAGE 500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

 

Naw the master tech said 800 would be fine. They said that it should take about that long for the ECU to fully learn the program. Plus I'm not gonna be redliner her anytime soon but, it would be nice to hit 8k everyonce and awhile. hehe As of right now, all my shift points are below 5k...and I'm cruisen' it at 4k just make sure what happened before doesn't happen again, cuz if I remember correctly the MOP still isn't giving it enough oil at the lower rpm's even with the new flash. Atleast that's what my Mazda Rotary tech is telling me.

Poor guy was looking at our new "kid." She's been misbehaving... so he had to diagnose her issues.

I'm now driving the FB (the new kid) around... and today I saw a silver FD on 440 (outer beltline) going towards Cary. I gave him the peace sign, and a big smile, but I don't recognize him. Anyone know who this was????

Could have been me as I did take the outer beltline down to Crossroads yesterday...I am in the vicinity of NCSU and Cary all the time. What time did you see the car (oh and my car looks stock other than a RB Type II wing if that helps)? If it was me sorry I didn't see you.

Anyone upgrading the exhaust on their TII???

I need a stock TII catback exhaust to install on my 10AE for the drive back from TX... I'd take my 3" turboback out there, but I don't wanna have any boost creep issues... Best to just leave it stock until I get it here...
