That is great, what has happened down east? Before there were very few people on the forum from eastern NC. I am glad to see the interest in Jacksonville and also around Fayetteville. Been looking forward to meeting y'all. We'll be driving down to Goldsboro next month for the Wayne County Air Show and going down to Wilmington again this year on November 4th for the British Car Show.

See you Saturday at 1800 hrs or as soon as y'all can make it.

Not exactly what I was thinking, but a 20B would do the trick.

There was a 3rd gen with a 12A in it running GT-2 class I think was at VIR a while back. Surprised us when we went to check the car out.

You just never know what is a tube-framed car He is prob running the 12A because with the 13B you have to add weight.

Yeah certain classes have certain power restrictions so the 3rd gens will run with a 12A, a lot of the times I believe these cars are tube frame chassis with fiberglass body on them so they are a lot lighter.

Carl, I agree the FD is an upgrade from any pre-1991 RX-7.

..................Obviously not with the 13B-REW... perhaps with an LS1?? *hides*

I really hope Jesse can get your car!! Gotta keep our cars in an environment where we can KNOW they'll be taken care of.

As for this weekend, David and I are running up to Norfolk Saturday morning to close out his storage unit, and hopefully we'll be back at a reasonable hour for the meet.

I miss you guys!!

Weren't you going to come down to the track here in Fayetteville for Freaky Friday sometime? Or was that someone else?

I might just have to make it to the meet this weekend, damn. I just wish Chris' FD would be ready and I'm not sure if Victor would make it. That's pretty much all of us so far, haha. That's awesome though, hope to see you there again Jason. And since Josh keeps putting off the Deal's Gap trip, when are you and I going out there again? Haha.

I don't know why the hell people can't keep to themselves. That really pisses me off. And why would anyone even want to do that anyway, what have we done to anyone? Is someone trying to get it fixed?

Hmmmm.... haha.

Alright guys and gals, something kinda funny happened today. So I'm online and I check my bank account (who I had the loan through for the FD) to see how much I still owe, cause it's supposed to be paid off this month. Well what do I find but a whopping $0.13 standing between me and finally owning my love. So I step out to the floor where all my maintaining brethren are working, and start asking for donations cause I just can't swing the whole 13 cents myself at this time. I get about 10 cents...and lucky me, I find the last 3 cents in my ashtray in the very beauty on which I'm about to finish out the layaway. I stop by the bank on my way home and tell the teller I'd like to pay off my car, and I place the stack of pennies on the counter, to which she replies "with THAT?". I said "yes, I think it should cover it." HAHA. I told her I knew it was stupid but I thought it was funny, and she said she was just so happy I was getting a kick out of it, haha. Anyhoo, that's my story for the day. I finally fully own my love!!

Driver suffered no injuries due to getting on his head... the only major injuries were from the primary impact to the 5-6 foot embankment and the secondary impact to the trees 'bout 5-6 feet further up... they consisted of one compressed vertebrae and some lesser issues with the middle upper back between shoulder blades, and a very tender sternum and sore ribs... Fortunately the seatbelt and air bag did an excellent job... sternum and ribs were likely the result of the air bag, but well worth it considering the alternatives...

FWIW...
PM or email me... geeze.

Congrats Eric, love the way you did that. On the 3rd gen we were expecting to see you know what in there the way he was running at the front. Got him to open the hood and I was like ahhh...

Thanks guys! Yeah I don't think she got as big a kick out of it as I did. I love doing stuff like that, haha. Just something to make people think "what the hell is wrong with that dude?" HAHA. I would have been quite surprised to see under the hood too Greg. It's good to know the 12A is able to compete like that in the FD.

I just moved to Chapel Hill, NC. I am still trying to get adjusted out here and see who's around with hobbies like mine. I've got my '73 RX3 here now with Cosmo 13BREW, Microtech and TII/GSL-SE brakes. Where's the good shops? Where's a good wrecking yard? When's the next meet?
