well, it looked like a saturdays in raliegh at steves tonite. i think we'll have to start a thursdays at steves thread. we had atleast 6 FC's out there tonite. ken is the proud owner of a T2 now... theres a lot to be proud of but a lot not to be like the no title part and the 60 lbs of compression. it runs though, when it feels like it. he picked it up for 500$ this afternoon. its identical to steves T2. tryin to talk him into doin a T2 swap into the GXL but im almost sure he'll try to get a title. road trip tomorow for me n steve , to wilmington. its gonna suck like nothin else. all for this red car. i think we've got more hours invested in it than dollars.
on another note, i spotted a red FC s4 vert today in traffic on my way home. it was pretty sweet. didnt get a chance to stop but checked it out when i passed it. it didnt have anything on kieths vert or the black one we'll try our best to get to the next meet with but, it was still an S4 vert, i rarely see an RX7 but very rarely a vert. man, i want one!
anybody that doesnt have a car wanna volunteer to drive an FC to the next meet so we can stomp the FD's on turnout?! haha, we're gonna need a few if we bring all the durham cars.... hopefully, we'll have 2 black T2's there if all the paper work comes through on the red one and i get my money strait and all. anyways, i think its time to hit the sac, long day tomorow!

 

Sounds like y'all have created your own rotary group with a speciality in FCs. Where do y'all find all the cars? How about "The Rex Restoration Project", go non-profit, and get grants for restoring a unique approach to the internal combustion engine.
Hey, y'all might get your own cable show on Discovery or the Speed channel if can cuss like Big Paul and have a dumb, shop attendant with long curly hair. No, not Mikey, I was thinking more like Pam Anderson on Tool-Time. You might even get Mazda and a beer company to sponsor it. You just need a good body man, good paint guy ( I can get you a good painter) and someone who can do interiors.

Dave and Steve, I ran into a couple guys here in Holly Springs on Friday with a S4 convertible. I gave them the info for the saturday night drive-ins. So hopefully you'll have another FC showing up that night.

I just realized I really like the rims (black with chrome lip) that are featured on the red FC at the top of the RX7club.com webpage. Anyone have any idea what brand those are ? They'd look sweet on my car !! (mine is red too!)

ahh, i dont like this new layout too much. anyone not have pm's? it says mine are disabled and i was hoping it wasnt just me. anyways, haha, the show. yeah, i can see that one... i dont even know how that would go. it would just be a lot of cussing at each other calling steve butterfingers!!! cause he cant hold on to anything while he's workin on stuff... haha. anyways, we went to wilmington friday to see if we could get that title, nada... we keep runnin in circles. we did find out some good info on it so maybe we can get it worked out by the end of the week. thats my goal! anyways, hope steves still alive, havent talked to him since he left for the kenny cheasney concert last night! punk ***...

 

The concert was great man(doing a little dance), i think it was about 75% girls there, to bad i went with my sister. I think Josh would have had fun too, i saw a lot of 14year old girls. HAHAHA

 

yeah yeah yeah, this is where the drama for the show would start. steve talking crap cause he got to go to a concert last night while i was working! i thnk the biggest BS talkin would be between steve n phil(his brother) since steves GTU beat his turbo II a while back. haha, thats not sayin his turbo is slow, steves GTU is damn quick! just as that sad owner of the brand new yellow mustang GT on 40 the other day. he couldnt get more than a few car lengths away from it until i let off at like 130... haha, great stuff... hate street racing, but he was askin for it!

 

Yeah man, they got the pm's temporarily dissabled right now. They said they may have to run another update because the previous update didn't get all the little stuff updated. Like when they first got the forum back up we did have pm's available to use but nobody had their old pm's to check back on. They're working on it regardless. haha

Woo, finally caught up with the new posts here. Does suck about that title stuff still not working out. I called Steve up while on my trip this week and he said something about they were going to apply for a lost title thing? Also said something about they called the guy's wife and he hadn't called back yet or something....

I don't like the layout as much... But at least after changing some options it looks a little better.

 

i might try to make the eastern NC meet. not sure how my schedule will work out though.

oh and i tagged a CYM 7 today, the one with the CYMANGEL plate. Probably, will never show up to a meet. She'd probably be afraid that none of the guys would quit bugging her. oh well, just thought i'd share.

I dont like the new "plasma" blue style.. it sucks.. Anyways I saw a VR FD this past friday over near garner/clayton on 70.... was that any of you guys? I'm prolly taking up trip up to Va sometime this week.. gonna go check out an FD. I might not be seven-less for much longer guys!

 

i think if its not sold it'll be there. i can get the calipers this weekend. 30$ and their yours, i sold my T2 rear end.

 

u talkin to me? if u are then no. it is a yellow one with a 99spec front end. i caught up to the car in clayton at the vets office. i think she works there, either a vet or a tech, cuz i have seen her there before.

Hey Ryan, I'm so sorry that you're gonna have to settle for an FD. I know it is tough not being able to find an FC any where. Don't get down on yourself too much, an FC will come along one of these days.

Being the good guys that we are when you bring it to the drive-ins we'll tell you what a great car it is, how beautiful it is, and what a great deal you made on it. Deep down we'll all be feeling your pain and disappointment, so do your best to act like a proud and happy rotary owner, after all owning an FD is better than not owning any rotary.

I am truly sorry and deeply regret the comments I made about FDs. I forgot how sensitive FD owners are. Please forgive me Josh, you must, because you also know how much us FC owners care about you other guys and would never intentionally say anything to offend y'all. We know you are doing the best you can and we are always willing to do all that we can to help the less fortunate. Oh, darn did I do it again?
