o yeah, ok, ive been meaning to ask you all this for a long time. i've got a party house out here that we usually rent out for things like cookouts, birthdays or use it for big family things. i was wondering if you all might want to have a meet out here one night. we could cook some burgers n stuff and then go driving since bahama has such "good roads". i know everyone who has come out here lately thats not from around here has been like wow! the roads are awesome out here. i know it doesnt sound all extremely happening n stuff but, just a thought that i had been considering for a long time.

HAHAHA, sorry guys, my gf from texas came to see me for the past week. She wouldn't let me get on the computer cus she was like "I'm only here for a week". Anyways, I'm beggining to think due to the length of this thread that i'm the only one that spends a significant amount of there time out in that garage. Whassup up with that? IS my car the only one that needs work? or is it something else

HAHA. I mainly post while I am at work. My job is basically sitting at a desk all day long with my thumb where the sun don't shine. So I harass you guys during the day.

Dave, I was pretty sure that was me that night, but I know to you 2nd Gen guys all 3rd Gens look alike.

Glad to hear you guys are alive and well. Steve just remember women are the anti-car. LoL

Dave, the idea of the cookout is a good idea. We can talk about it and see who is interested at the next drive-in. How many guys can say they've driven their cars to bahama? A Cook Out in Bahama, COB, yeah, it could be an end of summer thing and target for everyone to make it to.

New guy with Black TII, David. has exhaust leak

The guy with the '88 BB TII that I met Monday mentioned that he has an exhaust leak and wanted to know if we have anyone in the group that could help him with the problem or has worked on their exhaust system. I don't think that he has posted yet on this thread but he checks it out, so if we have anyone with some knowledge or experience please reply. He works at a tire shop and may be able to get some lift time to do the work. Just let him know if you're able to help him check it out.

Just crank it up and lift the car off the ground, then get under the car and listen for a leak. Thats how i do it.

JMunilla94RX7,

For FD Door Sill, go to www.mazaformance.com/rx7.htm
Click on accessories section and then door scuff plate, the part number is FD01-V1-370G and Price is $134.95
per set. I bought and installed mine and it looks very good on the car. It has gold RX-7 letter. Only bad thing about this part is it gets scrach fairly easy :-(
Need to be careful when you step in and out of the car.
Hope this helps!

Andy

Thanks, Andy. That is a better price than RX7.COM.

Do they all come with gold lettering? I could have sworn that Rick's didn't.

hey josh, there is a set for sale on ebay right now for $45 I think. I'll look for the link.

But on another note, I'm sorry I didn't make it out to the meet this past weekend. I had finally made it to the beach for the first time in a year or so it feels like. I left Wilmington around 4 so I could back to Raleigh just in time but I hit some crazy thunderstorms that slowed everybody on the interstate up.

Add toluene to the gas and turn up the boost with some "junkyard" mods and they are pretty darned quick on a race track.

Ever watch "Beverly Hills Cop"? Remember the "Banana" trick?

Have a friend take a rag/block of wood with rag/etc and stuff it in the tailpipe with the car idling and it will be very evident where it is. It will get hot...remember...it's a rotary!

There's a room in my house besides the garage? Gee, I didn't notice.

Oh...that USED to be what I did. Now I spend my time off work studying for class to get another degree to pay for the cars in the garage and more track time.

Ashraf I think you need an intervention. The first step is admitting you have a problem. track racing is an addiction.
