I'm glad I've got to meet everyone, you guys are pretty cool. Can't wait till next time. Yeah Josh, what happened to the jail bait that was sittin in your drivers seat? was the mood set for the night up at capital.

Not a chance! She was too young, and, to put it nicely, she wasn't my type. Thanks for giving me a hard time about it though.

Though, I did stick around after you guys left and talked to some of the people up there. I saw a couple of nice 350Z's later on in the night; nothing too impressive, though.

Like Brent suggested maybe if we decide to hit Capital again we can cruise a bit longer. go up and down a few times. We definitely had everyone's attention.

It was good meeting and I look forward to seeing everyone at the next meet. It is good to see a good crew coming together.

 

yeah taylor, u remember those girls down there with the honda boys? They came up there right after you left. They must have gotten turned on by your BOV, or maybe that was me. hahaha, that sounded bad as hell when u were leavin'

Hello Guys,

I will try to show up on 7/10/04 meet if I am not tie up with my busy life and get my 1993 red FD to blow cold air. I think it ran out of Freon or refrigerant. Do you guys know how to check freon level in these FDs?

I think what he meant is that HE was turned on by the BOV. I have to second that; is it wrong to want a BOV to have my children? That HKS BOV sounds good. I hope the Blitz BOV sounds that good when I buy it.

 

Yeah, i ment what josh said. I think i'm gonna have to give up my little 5 dollars Lowes special BOV and get something a little louder. But first, i need to get an MBC and crank it up to about 15psi, I'll be straight then....

It looks like we're gonna have to meet over on Ricer Road, used to be known as Capitol Blvd, and order Chinese, or Japanese, and make a night of it over there just to keep everyone happy! Sounds like we're gonna have to assign a designated driver for Josh, if can't keep the little girls out of his car.

I hope everyone enjoyed the meet, and to answer Riceman, yeah we've got a member who can test your AC system for charge but you need to check it for leaks first. I don't want to speak for Zoooom but he checked out Matt's FD and determined that it had some leaks and he checked out my FC and determined it was a bad relay. I'll be getting that fixed soon. I left the jumper wire connected to the plug and it worked fine on the way home from Char Grill.

lol well I am not sure I wanna move our meetings to Ricer Road. I like the chargrill on strickland, but if other people wanna move it, I will meet you guys wherever.

I think I am just gonna have to be less nice to the ricer crowd. therefore avoiding the high school girls.

 

Good answer, I was kiddin' and I hope no one takes the idea too seriously. I'm concerned that the ricer crowd will start driving over to Strickland just to see the 7 crowd and then it'll get real ugly with all the rice whinning going on.

I think you suggested that we might ought to have more structure to the meeting, I think it might be time for some of that. Since we seem to be growing and seem to be building a real good group of guys with a variety of interest, knowledge and cars I'm open to ideas from anyone about what they want to get from the meetings.

I think we all enjoy looking at each others cars and hearing about how we found them and how they got to the stages they're now at, and what we need to do next. I think we could all benefit from each other's knowledge and experience, like I did Saturday from Zoooom's AC experience. Steve has a lot of time under the FC hood and Rick and Ashraf seem to know the ins and outs of the FDs. I'd like to spend one meeting a month focused on maintenance issues, common problems, easy mods to improve performance, or actually spend a meeting with a hands on training session. I liked the response to the giveaway drawing we had, and I'd like to do that again just to keep things interesting.

Maybe we can get some feedback from the others about this kind of thing. Everyone please feel free to jump in and comment on what you want to see happening at our drive-ins. We can do one a month just to hang out and one focused meeting. What ever y'all want to see happening.

I got a red TII at my house that me and dave are putting a motor in as we speak. Are u interested in it? I also have my GTU, but i dont think anybody is too interested init since it dosn't have any boost.
I think were gonna try to get 2500 for the TII. Let me know if u are interested.

yea i might be interested in an FC, I definitely prefer a TII; little by little the 2nd Gens have grown on me.. How is the body and everything? Are they in good shape? If you guys will be selling it in the $2000-2500 range, I will take a serious look at it.

 

sorry i couldnt make it guys, as i started to pull out, the idle crapped out on me. im gonna check my error codes tonight to see if i get anything.

Whats this about a 14 year old girl? I thought I saw a bag of candy under your seat!!! Ill check a/c for you riceboy Im not a wiz on these cars but Ive learned a little from my car. I mainly do residential A/C but Ill give you my opinion on your car. Heyyyyyyyyyy To FD owners I can look at your A/C but I have to drive your car to Va (just playing.) Ill let you know when I'm planning on coming down.
