for me a little later is better. gives me a chance to do some stuff during the day, but if you decide to do it at two I will come just the same.
thanks, for clearing things up, Bert, it is hard to tell these things when everything is typed, hard to read emotions.
see you on Saturday.

If we can't have fun on the Internet then what's it for?

Do you go to the MSSC of NC meetings out in the park on Friday evenings? They hold a get together at 7:00 pm near the Hwy 54 and Hey 55 intersection, in the shopping center south of the intersection and on the west side of Hwy 55.

Like I mentioned, this month will be hard, I have a first comunion followed by dinner at Gradmas house and the next weeked is Eagle Ceremony etc. I think that leave the 29th and I may have to do everything else that hasn't been done this month. 6pm unfortunately is late for me. Concidering, but is still better than a Friday! Don't loose hope I will try to be there soon! As for the rain, I think its 50% weather 50% other drivers or translated 100% other drivers in the rain!

On the car cover maybe I should have an Rx7 cover then it could be out side in the rain or maybe an Rx8 cover for my seven? Hope you have a good turn out Saturday.

Terry, congradulations on first communion, enjoy the experience, first only comes once. Also, congrats on earning EAGLE, very impressive. wear it proudly and well, that is one of life's great accomplishments and you are in very good and distinquished company.
Shawn, where do you normally hangout? Very nice car you have, there is something about a black RX7. Look for this one on Saturday.

You may see my car someday. I'm heading to the outer banks for Memorial Day weeked. So this month is out. Shawn aren't you up in Greenvile? We should hook up sometime. I drive up there at least a couple times a year. Bert, It's my Boys, one for Eagle, another for Communion. Yes, I am very proud of them!

Nothing sad about your FD Josh, Very nice car. Maybe we can get some group shots this Saturday and post them, that usually gets alot of interest generated in the group.

Yep - I am in greenville. Make it to raleigh once a month. Also go to zebulon on occasion to play disc golf. As far as meets go I am willing to travel a long way - I was one of the 15 singled fd's to show up at gorden monsens in eastern PA.
Oh, and thanks for the compliments - It has been a long road to get to this point and I still have a ton I need to do on it as you will see at the meet.

If it is group shots that will establish legitamacy, then how about these? There were actually more RX-7's in attendance that night which left before the group shots were taken...

So are you going to make the long hard trek to RTP tomorrow evening, Bert?
Our club president lives in Wake Forest and doesn't seem to have a problem making it out to our meetings...
I'm darn sure there is a twisty-backroads scenic route from Wake Forest to RTP that you can entertain yourself on and avoid the Friday traffic!

unless something major happens i will be there tonight, although i will have to kill some time, since i work right in Cary so I am about 15mins aways (maybe 30 in traffic) for some reason i thought it was earlier; probably confused the time with the Saturday meet. maybe i can find a backroad to burn up until then.

Just wanted to follow up on this for anyone who is following the thread.
Bert, had a decent turnout this weekend. There were a total six RX7 owners(four 3rd gen and two 2nd gen). A couple of guys showed up without their rides, mainly due to the modification/repair process that is constant in most of our rides.
Bert and others are knowledgable in the ways of the rotary engine and I am sure they are willing to help with suggestions for repairs and mods.
A couple of people took pics of the meet, which I am sure they will post sometime soon.
Hope some of you guys can make it out to next Saturday's meeting. It should take place at same 7 time, same 7 channel.

We had a good turnout on Saturday, Shawn was there with his beautiful 94 turbo 7; Matt was there with his 93 beauty, it didn't rain so Shawn showed in his immaculate 94, Ashraf came over from Durham and brought his Miata along to introduce her to the handsome 7s, and I was present with my 89 GTU. The really amazing part was that all the 7s were brilliant black, and turned a lot of heads as they were formed up in the parking lot.
I think everyone had a good time and most had been over to the MSSC of NC meeting the night before and reported a pretty good turnout over there, which is great news. A strong RX7 group in Raleigh, or at least this part of NC can only help the MSSC of NC grow and prosper. I appreciate the effort everyone made to come out on Saturday evening, Shawn showed up at 2:00 pm and at 6:30 pm. We dicided to stick with the location and meet next Saturday again at 6:30. Here are the pictures I was able to get or the pride of RX7s that assembled in the Char Grill parking lot:
