I don't think we should worry about it, it should be one of the perks for coming to the meets a lot.

and for dis'n on my dust covered car....

looks kinda good when she's cleaned up, eh?

just gotta work on the passenger side lower side-skirt body thing... and put some new black stuff on it.

Very nice car! You will be a welcome addition to our group. If you need directions to the Drive-In just hook up with Steve and Dave in Durham and follow them over to Raleigh. A rotary caravan would be sweet rollin' in to the Char Grill. I can't wait to hear how the trouble shootin' went and the story behind your car.

I met someone a couple of months ago wanting an RX7 after seeing mine and met him again yesterday at the grocery store and he is still interested. I told him you might have one, in running condition, that you'd be interested in selling. He is in High School and doesn't have a bunch of money to but right off but do you think you could find something for him if his parents agree?

No problem, we all owned other cars before we got our ROTARIES. Bring anyone who wants to come, we should have a very good turnout on Saturday.

between the guys I've talked to, shared emails with, and pm'd and the comments on this thread we have 8 - 10 commits right now. We'll see if we get any unknowns from the flyers and cards that have been passed out.

It looks like we'll break the magic number for a giveaway of the mazdaspeed oil filler cap. everybody bring your drivers llicense to throw in the hat for the drawing.

Yeah, well when we started the group in May I made a rule that when we got 8 or more RX7s at a drive-in we'd have a drawing for a giveaway. At the time I had bought two oil filler caps on ebay and had an extra one. SInce we've not had more than 6 7s at any one meet I've still got the extra Mazdaspeed cap . . . so that'll be our first giveaway item. They really do look pretty nice under the hood.

You want to offer a free engine rebuild as the next giveaway? You could do the rebuild and Steve and Dave, the Rotary Doctors, could offer a house call for the next giveaway to get it tuned and running.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Good come back on the oil filler cape, I like your attitude, hope to meet you Saturday.

wow- i saw the red and the white FC's while i was at work, they went right by on the way up there. did one of those cars have chrome spoke wheels on it?! from the pics, they look like the same wheels that unfourtunately came on my T2. i dont have my T2 for sale unless someone wants to buy it without a motor and trans or rear end. the only thing left of it is part of the interior and maybe the drivers door. everything thats worth something is going into this convertible that I BETTER PICK UP TOMOROW! this guy's been givin us the runaround for like the past week now. its gonna be a big project but hopefully you guys will see a great end product of our work. if miracles happen and plenty of prayers are said, we could roll in on a turbo vert sat. night. when its done, i'll have a brilliant black, 1 owner, 150K, bone stock, 87 TII attending the next meet. it'll have my name on the title!!! hell yeah! i cant wait. if pigs flew, we could have like 4 7's from the "rotary doctor" crew comin in- me, ken, steve and his brother phil. btw- if ken doesnt make it this weekend, im pretty sure it'll be because he doesnt have a car in one piece due to it being strung out apart his garage with an S4 turbo goin onto a 13b, not a 13bt.... his stuff is gonna be right pretty soon!

damn i'm always a day late and a dollar short.

good pictures Bert. I especially like the picture of the Fiero GT. As you might know I have one, but mine is the the original bright blue. Does my heart good when I still see people holding on to them. that car could have been something it could have been a contender; to badly paraphrase the movie. If only GM hadn't canned it in '88.

Here is a picture of mine. Just cuz I am bored.

It is my semi daily driver, so if you guys see it on the way to Cary on i40 you know it is me.
