The tall fair haired guy jumped the shooter at UNCC Charlotte and died while saving many lives. The other guy did something similar in the Colorado shooting if I remember it right.

Yep, these fine young men are deaths #140 and #141 from school shootings in the United States since Columbine.

All young people, even the teachers.

None wanted to be Heroes. They just wanted to go to school to learn.

Wake Up America, do we really want to live in a Gun Culture?

All good, but I don't see Russia, North Korea, China, the Congo, or Vietnam on that list?????

Back on the Rotary thing, I've decided to keep my red car.... Someone offered me my asking price and I just couldn't let it go. It just brings too many grins to my face to throw raw gas out of the tailpipe (big fire *****).

So after I finish my Porsche; we are going twin GT20* turbos blowing through the Nikki (Much bigger venturies are needed), and I'm gonna get a Tii trans and a nice 8.8 rear. Cool thing is with twin turbos I can finally use a racing beat exhaust (gonna use the long primary exhaust and mate them to each GT20)

*Same boost levels (about 9 pounds or so), but faster spooling time. And it will look COOOL

Guns don’t kill people any more than knives or automobiles.. people kill people.. all comes down to what they choose to do it with. As usual, Libs say take it away from everybody if it hurts.

Kids can't run from bullets. Nobody is asking anybody to give up their guns. That's a republican scare tactic. The government should keep a database of all gun purchases and enact red flag laws. They should also keep gun violence and death statistics. The republican have passed laws to ensure these stats are not kept by the government. Let the truth be known, Transparency is the only solution.

More kids have access to automobiles then guns yet we don't hear about mass killings at schools with vehicles. There is a reason for this. People with guns can kill more people. Regulate the gun and decrease the killing kids. For example, if a kid kills someone with a parents gun, the parent should be charged with the same crimes as the kid. This is the way guns should be regulated. If republicans cared as much about school children as they did a fetus this wouldn't be an issue.

I don't want BB to know anymore than he does. All he needs to know is that there is a chance of uprising that he cannot stop and knows not where it will come from.

I'm still waiting on statistics from Russia, N. Korea, and the others. But that'll never happen truthfully, we'll just say it was 1 death.

On that note lets look at another way of viewing "gun control". Lets list the governments that have the most deaths on their own people... I think Russia tops the list by far, followed shortly by Germany, China, Japan, Spain, all those Baltic states that seem to thrive on genocide.

At the bottom of the list I think is America with the native American massacres (but once again they didn't have guns to fight back).

Almost forgot Italy (or Rome) with the Kitos war where Jewish people rose up against Rome and got SACKED. I mean you think the holocaust was bad?!?! The Romans had no mercy. But I don't know if you would consider Rome to be the same government as we would view it today. More like a bunch of thugs (I love them).

EDIT: damn now that I'm going back that far I'm thinking of all the genocide/wanton slaying of innocents the British peoples have done,

I'd rather focus on how to keep kids in school safe and not have to worry that someone with a gun is around the corner.

Right, decimation of entire populations, no problem. History is cyclical after all; all this will be repeated after the next dark age we are fast approaching.

I'm just glad I could be born right at the end of the high point in earth for the next 500 years. Like a man at the end of the 5th century.

Statistically that should be the least of your worries. Try heroin Or meth Deaths to be worried about in our schools. I live in gun country USA North Carolina. People shooting in their back yard every night all around me. I don’t own a gun but it feels pretty safe with them all around me.

Ok. Too harsh. Regardless of the problem, drugs, guns yada yada, more incompetent government is not the solution. Walls or cataloging everyone's personal property.

Keep kids safe... smaller schools or home school. I don't think the teachers in a home school are going to get shot by their students. They may get poorly instructed though.

FB with TWIN turbos@@@!!!!!!

WHY YOU CARE ABOUt SCHOOLS!!!!! FB WITH TWIN TURBOS?!?!?!?!!!!!!

BLOW THROUGH NIKKI WITH TWIN TURBOS. !!!#@@!$!@($*#!($*#($(#@*$(#!*$(!

I can't find anybody who even has attempted it. and all yall can think about is drugs and kids with guns. Sheesh I'm outa here.

KC speaks the common sense truth.

Why are you Republicans so terrified of the truth?

You babble about conspiracy theories, the US government turning on it's own people, criminal immigrants, blah, blah, blah..

Give me a break. Trumpenistas are bunch of paranoid self serving idiots.

(You can't be all three, so pick the best 2 out of 3 that apply).

Ignorance is bliss alright, but it can also get you in a whole lot of trouble.

Wake up America! Before it's too late and we become another Russia, or China, or North Korea.

It's no coincidence that these guys are Trump's Best Friends.

And for the record: Nobody (including liberals) is going to take away anybody's guns (including mine).

Unless I go out and start shooting up the neighborhood, which sounds like what's happening where Paul lives.

Remember to duck Paul.

Guns just need to be registered, like all other things in this country that can be dangerous if misused.

They need to be properly cared for, properly used and out of the hands of nuts and criminals.

Like we do with cars.

And backed up by laws, like traffic laws, to assure compliance and the safety of the American People.

Big ole conspiracy that Stalin eliminated 20 million people. The Tiananmen square incident didn't occur. I will say that who knows whats going on in North Korea; I'd imagine Kim Jong whoever isn't killing his people but just has them believing that the world is awful outside North Korea. We should learn from what these countries did wrong.

I'm in no way concerned about what Joe Whoever down the street is doing with his firearms. But I feel VERY safe in a country were I don't have to worry or think about tanks, bearing the same flag I align myself to, rolling down my street.

I'm NOT writing that there is a conspiracy or the like in the mix in the American government for the fact that they are afraid of the population (look at what happened to LA in the 90s).

I'm just trying to impress upon you guys that making poor choices that ingratiate an already oversized government is not wise based on the history of mankind.

I just want to throw it out there that I DO NOT consider myself a "libertarian". But I do pick and chose my battles. And I think I end up on the SPEND LESS MONEY side of every argument.

With all the walls and health care you people are voting into existence I'm amazed the dollar is worth anything at this point.

Climate change scares me. So does Donald Trump.

Health care would cost half as much if the Medical Industrial Complex, supported by Trump and cronies, was not in control.

Think about it, no more insurance companies screwing you when you get Old.

And still driving your 12A.

Beyond guns, if the government ever starts poking its nose under my hood I'm gonna loose it. You think my car would be legal anywhere other than SC; don't think so. No exhaust ****'s here, not like in CA.

You know if you hard line Libertarians and Republicans would get reasonable about gun safety, Hillary's brain tumor and the government breaking down your back door, us Liberals might loosen up a bit on taxes, abortion, social security and emissions (rotary related only).

But I draw the line at saving the turtles. We need to save the turtles.

So if you guys with MAGA hats would just let off the gas, we could right the ship.

Then we'd all Be Happy. And, as a unified country, tackle the health care problem.

This isn't a binary choice. We don't have to choose. Guns and drugs can be worked on at the same time. At least with drugs, its a choice if someone indulges or not. Not many people wish to be shot with a bullet from a gun.
