For yall in the Atlanta area. Skip Barber closed shop so there are tons of equipment, trucks, and sports cars for sale for cheap.

I kinda want to pick up a tube chassis and do something crazy with it, but I don't have the dough or the time.

It doesn't look like the sloppy dealer AC my 85 GS had.

 

my 85 is still completely original and the R12 is too. Still blows ice cubes but I only turn it on periodically to keep it vital.

I know, the dealer AC is installed with self taping sheet metal screws. How lazy is that?!

I kinda like the clean installed factory units, but I'm the kind of guy who closes the hood and leaves the mess under there. The dealer unit works so I don't bother it. I might swap out for a factory compressor one day.
