Brett, I got to drive Ray's girl after the RB exhaust install and I think he is going to be satisfied with the performance improvement.
Ray, after you dug out the the 2 of the air cleaner canisters, I left them at your house. Maybe we can hook up one day this week to make the exchange.
Crit, looks like I may not be able to make the June 7 meet, it sure sounds like it is going to be great. Maybe we can hook up one night so I can get that oil pressure sender from you.

Hmm, I thought the lake would be a lot closer than it is from up this way, but thats ok, cause I'm still comin' down. So far its just Stu and me.
Looks like a 3 hr. drive + 1/2 hr for getting lost, turning around a few times and what not.
Mike we can meet up like last time in Spartansburg if your up for it.

Can we get a list of who's likely to come and what they can bring? I've mentioned it to the wifey and she's happy to help, but more organized than I. She needs specifics, and if mama aint' happy, ain't nobody happy.
So far we've got:
Crit and Dena - Fuel for the boat and grill, brats, whatever falls through the cracks
Holly - baked beans, cole slaw, Nathan's hot dogs, chocolate cake
Stu and Tim
Dave and Elizabeth - 7layer dip
Billy
Tim, I know it's still a drive, but the Atlanta group has come all the way to the state line. I don't think we can come any closer without making it a Crossroads event.

Hey Crit, you haven't listed me yet but I'm down for some Sea Foam, Red Dogs and a couple GSLs (although I couldn't get Cathy to come, she has a date with the dogs).
Stu get your Mom to cook. Moms cook good.
Speaking of piloting a pontoon, I saw on the news last night that the water level on Lake Lanier is still very low and making navigation difficult, lot's of old tree stumps starting to pop up. What's the situation at Lake Hartwell?
And in case ya'll didn't already see it, here's a photo of my new turbo:

Ray you have way too much time on your hands.
Those are some clean fans but the bottom one needs more scrubbing
Is this your way of saying your tossing the clutch fans and going electric

Nope, it's a way of saying I'll be driving clutch fans for decades to come. None of them are clean enough to actually install in a car (not one of mine anyway). I was just cleaning out the shed and got in an artsy mood, they are a thing of beauty, don't you think?
I'm working with one of the other members to construct a hyper turbo that will ride on top of the car:

Properly installed we figure it will provide at least 800 CFM at 10,000 psi. Might be ready for the June 7 meet.

Ray, I actually passed you today in a coworker's truck. You were stuck on 85 just north of Spaghetti at 9:30, and I had you pegged from about 10 cars back. My coworkers were amused somehow (pitty, impressed, I don't know).

AAGGHHH, this is what I get for not watching this forum like a hawk!
I can probably make it on the 7th. I'll be able to commit more by the end of the weekend. This may require some fenegalry.
Anybody excited about the upcoming 24h du Mans?
I've had this idea floating around in my head for a while:
PROBLEM:
Every year, I feel like such a freak for waking up at the butt-crack of dawn to watch Le Mans (by myself). My life would be complete, if only I had hardcore motorsports friends who shared my addiction to the greatest race on the face of the Earth. This is the international sports car holiday.
SOLUTION:
We need to have a 24h-LM breakfast get together on the 14th at 8:30 AM. This is first year that Le Mans will be in HD, and I am super-stoked (plus, I just got a HDTV, courtesy of the gov-ment). I am more than willing to host (my house in Flowery Branch), but couch space may be at a premium. If there is plenty of interest, I'll look into attaining a different venue, such as my neighborhood clubhouse.
Yes, that's early for a Saturday, but apparently on June 14th, 2008 we will be living on the wrong side of the planet. I was thinking about a pot-luck breakfast, maybe some booze. The first part of Speed's coverage ends at 12:30PM, but we'll be done before that.
Anyone interested?

I think that sounds pretty damn cool. I'm close to Jeffrey's Sports Bar and I would offer to host, but I don't have an HDtv. If there is an interest, I would be up for it. I could bring some cheesey hash brown casserole.
