You 2nd gen kids can come, but free beer for those over 40, married, getting fat and know how to fix the cars. Here's who said they'd come:

Mike
Greg
Me

And a kid from out in the GA sticks who works at Jeffrey's, whose dad gave him one sweet 80 SA that he's now driving, when not on the bike. Nice Dad.

Anyway, the more 1st gen RX-7s the better, owners included.

Ray
Gee, I'm not over 40, not a guy, but I do know how to fix my purty little FB. Too bad I'm not close by! I might have talked you guys into letting me come, too! I rarely ever see any 1st gens around here. Saw one on the side of the road once with a for sale sign in the window, but no #. LOL I know there is one in Albany, too. Do you know of any clubs closer to me?? I'm at Lake Seminole, GA.

1st Tuesday of the month, 7:00 pm at Jeffrey's in Suwanee.

Guys = Girls for this club, especially if they have a 12A and know how to fix it.

Jeezus (Stu) drove 350 miles for the last meeting, said it was worth it.

Come on down.

Kymber - Next time I head to Valdosta to visit the folks and I take the 7 I will send you a message. I should be going soon but will not take the 7 as the wife, bro, and soon to be sis-inlaw will be traveling with.

If you do get the chance to make it up to Atlanta some time let us know. Maybe we can get a meet together that is in the middle of the normal meets. Might get more people if we did it on a sat or sun. Just let us know.

Guys,

I spoke to project 88 gxl about his GSL-SE, but curious if y'all know of any other -SEs for sale in the area.

Anyone?

And don't say Bryn - he wants 5k for his.

I'll be there, by the way.

I need to nsure my 84 GSL for full damage in case anything ever happens to it. What is the best insursnce company to do that with? Right now we have State Farm. How does one go about getting replacement insurance on old classic cars anyway?

ps: planning on being there for tuesadys meeting.

"so, can i stil come even if im not driving a wankel?"

I'll check the archives on this AWS, but I suspect not. But you could always crash the party.

A 1997 Nissan pickup? What are you, a red neck?

Wacky, we make exceptions for you.

hmm, i might come. we will see. i might have to come and drop off parts for someone there.

red neck? are you serious? if it was jacked up and covered in "the south will rise again" stickers, yeah. its a 4cyl DD. it gets better gas mileage than a 1st gen, more reliable, and i wont want to do stuff to it all the time. its more usefull also. i have a first gen, and i needed something i could haul stuff in.

it looks like this:

thats not the one im getting though. mine is green.

Yes, but IS it a first gen? Is it a 12A?

I do like the color selection, green aint't bad for a pick up truck.

Be good t see you AWS, I'm still using that red stuff you gave me a few years ago.

I'll take the wheels and tires for $50 if you still have them. Also I am going to bring my new rat's nest that I'm in the process of rebuilding, nice and clean and suitable for the dinner table. I'm guessing that nest is good for 2-3 mpg.

You live a complicated life AWS, the November meeting would be fine.

But he brings up a good point, we should make these get togethers a parts swap. Anybody looking for something in particular?

well billy and i will be swapping all kinds of stuff while we are there, so i figured why not see if anyone wanted parts off my GSL. you guys have a few days to let me know. i might bring some stuff anyways and see if i can change your minds

i should be able to bring you those wheels. so count on them being there. if it changes, ill let you know before the meet.

Reminder: OGTA meeting tomorrow night, Tuesday October 2 at Jeffrey's in Suwanee, 7:00 of course.

I'll be showing off my rat's nest reinstallation and brand new 2nd gen coil set up - wow what a difference, finally a steady idle at 400 rpm.

Greg, I'll bring your 2nd gen coil pack along and a couple wires, we can install it in the parking lot.

Hope to see some new faces!

Ray
