Hope Dave can pull it together. How 'bout Sam and Michael, they have nice cars and I'd love to see that 12A from the brown one spinning again. We can get Sam to do another carb clinic. And maybe Michael can stay a little longer this time?

Hey Tim, congratulations, you are over 1000 posts!

Cathy and I enjoy the company and excuse to clean up the house, but I suspect Crit and Deena have the same motivations, so why don't we have a vote about a week before June 7th to see how the majority feels?

Unless Mike or Collin want to do it at their houses? Anybody else wanting to play host?

Here's my proposition. I can host, but it wouldn't be at my house. We can get together at my parents' lakehouse on Lake Hartwell. I-85 at the GA/SC border. We've got plenty of parking, but the house isn't well stocked, so we'll need to sign up for beer, burgers, Seafoam, etc.

HERE are directions from Atlanta. If everyone's up for a day on the pontoon boat and playing with the cars, speak up.

That sounds pretty awesome and gets us closer to actually visiting the Carolina rotorheads. They have come to visit us, we can visit them. I am willing to help out and will bring food and see whatever we need.

Is GSL's internet code for strippers?

I'm down Crit, strippers or not.

As long as I remember binoculars and a hiking GPS, we'll be fine on the lake. What we lack in strippers we can find there.

June 7 is sounding real good. But, that is a busy weekend for me. I am going to have to play that weekend by hear and probably won't be able to commit until the last minute.

I am down for Zoom-fest though.

Ah cool, I've got a friend who lives in....White Oak? (neighborhood that is the third street on the left after pulling off of Old Peachtree)

If you ever see a skinny young'un driving around in a red 12A with the factory spoiler, it's me. And I'm busy June 7 for this possible Lake Hartwell meeting, and I'll be out of town for a while near the end of the summer, but I'll see what I can get to.

They're usually on Tuesday nights in Suwanee, Arsenic, so I'm sure we'll catch you sooner or later.

Mhmmm

So today was the last day of school for me. Now I've finally got time to put in my nice and cheap black interior. I think I can do most of it since I pieced together my current interior, but I'm still a little clueless in places. Anyone ever swapped an FC Dash before?

And did you ever decide to put on that RB system or bring it to the meet for show, Ray?

Looks like Stu and me so far. I don't think Dave will make it in his "new" FB as it sounds like it needs a bit of TLC before he can take it on a long drive, but thats his call.
Yeah,...TLC is the word. In big compasionate doses. It will need a full run through before it leaves the driveway again.

So June is probably out. I may try to get one of the other 2 down there. Need tires on the FD and the FC will definatly make the trip if I take that one. But I know they are worth far less points and will hurt the carolina average. We'll see what I can pull off.

The monthly OTGA meet is coming up soon. Has a decision been made for it to be held on the Saturday in June at Crit's lake house? If so, lets get a list going for who is coming and what we will bring.

I will volunteer to bring for 20 people:
baked beans
cole slaw
Nathan's hot dogs
chocolate cake

What about Sam? His 12A should be running, and he's got a backup if it's not! Is everyone cool with the lakehouse for this month's meet?

Yeah I'm hoping Sam can make it too, Crit's lake house sounds like a perfect place for an OG@TA weekend retreat.

I can show off my new RB system (thanks to Mike for helping put it in):

Thanks Crit for hosting this thing, we need to let Holly know whose coming and what they are bringing (I'm already down for Sea Foam, Red Dogs and GSLs).

That's pretty!! RB is such nice stuff. I love the system we have on the FC. And given that the entire exhaust was rusted out when i got under the car i guess i will have to save up for this system as well. What is teh tone like? Mellow idle, any drone at steady speed on highway? sorry for the Q&A
Replaceing the u-joints in my drive shaft tuesday. Siezed in one direction, blown in the other.

Thanks Michael, it's actually a lot nicer in person than on the video. You coming down for the June 7 shin dig? And Dave, sounds like you'll have something running by then too?

Faster than a lot of young guys but then I've had a lot of practice.

Jury's still out on the RB performance upgrade, I really haven't taken it out for a proper road test yet. That will change tomorrow when I head back into Atlanta for work.

This June 7th meeting is shaping up to be a lot of fun!

We'll bring some 7 layer dip for chips, good stuff, and a little something we call Pettit Salad( tuna mac salad, but we made it for our first Pettit last year so it kinda stuck) and of course a fair share of cold beverages. If we need to bring more let me know..

Looks like Stu is bring the campfire starter
