Because the FC's are mostly owned by young, relatively poor kids scratching out a living, while the FB's are mostly owned by us well-to-do Old Guys.

The white FB sure is pretty, I never did find out who brought it or get time to take a close look, but from 10 feet it looks great!

Marco I gave Fred's seat rails to Alex, who lives in Powder Ridge, hoping you guys can hook up to get them deliver.

Several people were talking about your blue car last night, seems that thing makes and leaves quite an impression. I'd like to meet it sometime!

Ray,

I appreciate you coming thru with the the seat rails, and I will talk to Fred and maybe arrange a pickup. Who is Alex? Screenname? and have i met him before? Please PM me if you are Alex as i am bad with names.

The Sep. meet is looking promising, and so i hope making it out in the blue car. I need to come up with more excuse to drive it....

Thanks for posting Holly, it was a great turnout for 95 degree heat.

Tim I kind of like Datsun 240's, pretty classy look and legendary performance (SU's and all that). Not sure they belong in the same category with the high tech FC's.

Marco, I'll ask Alex to pm you to see if you guys can find a convenient way to move those rails along.

And Alex, I'll dig those trim and mirror parts out. Two questions, 1) do you need a passenger side mirror too and 2) shall I give them a nice coat of rustoleum satin black, the same paint I just did my trim parts in, before sending them out?

That's a different car on CL, I've seen it too. Fred drives the one at the meet, that one on CL is an auto.

Comparing a 240 to an FC... pshhhhhh

Fred contacted me about the rails and we will probably meet up this weekend and make the exchange

Ray, my passenger mirror is fine, the tree just took out my drivers side mirror. Your trim parts that you painted turned out great! I dont see how i can turn down an offer like that lol. Thanks!!!

Did you see my car? lol

I will never be associated with a "240 kid". That goes for Fc's as well.

These are 12A equivalents. It's a difficult concept, but you might get it after awhile.

And yes, FC's ain't no 240 Z's.

And yes again, that silver FC is one pretty FC for sure, very nice paint.

Ok, I will correct him. They're not talking about 240 Z's Ray. FC owners might not be as put off to be compared to those. They're talking about 240sx's.

Us FC owners might not have the greatest outsides but we know what is under our hood and we don't have to go swapping to a RB25DET or RB26DETT or an R2D2. We stay with our 13b's!

We don't even include 240 SX's in our catalog.

The FC is a fine car indeed Kristy, please excuse our kidding. When compared to all cars ever made, it is right up there near the top.

It's just that in the rotary world, you need to contend with the FB's and Old School's, formidable competition for sure.

Does anybody know where I can get a set or RX-8 rims with or without tires in the north georgia area? I walked out this morning to find my car on blocks. If you know of any, please give me a call and let me know 850-443-2648.

Tommy, that sucks. Let's get a couple of good high resolution shots of those wheels and tires posted up here on the OGTA thread and see if we can't find out where they went. Could you post a few for us?

It's this set, right?

I was not at the Aug. meet, however, i have met you in the July meet believe it or not. the 240sx joke is purely a joke just to pick on the FCs as there were more FCs than other generations. I didnt really mean to insult the FC community. I love FCs, and I have been wanting a clean 10th AE for quite sometimes now. I just have seen more "not so good condition" FCs around than other generations, and I just didnt want others to associate FCs with 240sx as most of them are in poor condition without bumpers bla bla bla...the whole "everybody wants to be a drift king wanna be" mentality. But to the "outsiders" who doesnt understand rotaries, FCs, 240s, might be classified in the same catagory believe it or not....just my observation.
