Not sure what is going with people hanging stuff off the back of their cars, but it does seem to be catching on. I think Donnie started all this last year with the big silver *****. Ray, you must have a picuture of this you can post to remind everyone.

Holly, thanks for the verification. I did take every point that was raised in the Great 12A Points Equivalency Debate from last night when making the final pointage assignments, everything was very carefully considered. And Mike S. also totally agrees, so it pretty much doesn't matter what the youngsters think.

1 12A FC (John) = 2 12A's (I mean, what better way to improve an FC?)
1 13B Datsun (David) = 2 12A's (I mean, how weird can you get?)
5 FB's (Mike, Carlton, Dean, Greg the Younger, Ray) = 5 12A's
1 PrePro (Kristy) = 1 12A (A well deserved upgrade from the earlier rating of 0.75)
1 FC (New Guy Mike from Monroe) = 0.5 12A's
1 FD = 1 12A (Can't remember his name, but that car is totally cool)

I just wish Brett had showed up, I wanted to ask him how you remove those damn rubber things that someone stuck on my strut towers. I asked Gene at the last meeting but he couldn't figure it out.

Thanks Michael, I'll give that a try. If I can get them off I'll bet Tim will give me a few bucks for them.

Tim, you know I've always wanted a shiny new red FD, don't worry I'll hold on to it. Replacing the Silver One will be hard, but it will let me get serious about finding that mint white SE with the red leather interior.

Ray, Richard has had his FD since before 2006, when I first met him. He's just taken it from stock to what it is now. And I don't think he will be trading anytime soon. I think he has it willed to me.

Nope. Those little holes are there to let the smoke out. It's an upgrade on the later FC's.

Well... GXL (Luxury, like a GSL on a first gen) 2nd gens came with 'AAS' or auto-adjusting suspension. There are little actuators that sit ovet the struts that turn a small pin on the top of the strut mount and that changes the pressure inside of the shocks resulting in a stiffer or softer ride depending on the selected mode. My FC had this before I upgraded the suspension, there are controls in the center console for 'Normal' and 'Sport'. Those rubber covers on Mike's FC were for the AAS equipped cars, 4 wires once ran through the holes...

Sorry I couldn't make it, I'm trying to save money. Actually, I'm trying not to spend money I don't have... . Buying the BMW broke me, but the .07 or .08 cents savings on every mile I choose to drive in it over the FC should hopefully add up over time. 200 miles a week equals a $728 yearly savings. In 2.197802197802198 years the BMW could pay for itself

Can you dudes who own the cars provide some kind of explination?

1. What's the deal with the fuel filter in the engine bay (Andrew's car)? Hard to tell in the pic, but looks to be hooked up at only one end. And I can see both of the fuel lines, and it isn't connected to either of them as far as I can tell.

2. Okay, the fd. Am I losing it? or is there this big assed intercooler mounted behind the radiator? Am I missing something? lol

3. I admit it, you've got me curious about that hose on Dean's car.

2. I don't own the car and I'm not a dude, but that is a big *** intercooler. You cannot see the radiator in this pic, he still has the stock radiator. But he's already purchased an aluminum radiator to install next.
