Hey Dudes, check out my new video. It's done with a single take, no dubbing or editing.

As much as I'm hoping it all works out, I may not be making ZoomFest this year. In order to be able to afford it on my - (-cringe-) - student pay... I will have to sell the Maxima. The good news is that if I sell the Maxima, I'll be able to get those shiny new SS brake lines from Mazdatrix and have the car track day ready (Not that there's any danger in running the car with the lines on there, but they're not exactly new..). I look forward to having a seasoned instructor help me to break some of the bad habits I know I've got. Knowing the technicalities of precision driving and executing them are two entirely different things!

The bad news is, by the time I sell the Maxima, all the spots may be taken. I could still go to ZF probably, cuz that's the cheap part; it's the track time that I lust after but cannot afford.

With the way my luck has been going lately, I'm optimistic that this will work out too - It's just not looking so hot at the moment.

That sums up my late-night rant..

I get to have a camera shoved down my throat this coming Tuesday..hopefully to figure out this whole random and blinding abdominal pain.

Had an awesome day with Michael - We met this chick who works at Movie Stop that's cool as ****.

Been driving Wanda for a few days now.. The lack of A/C sucks *** and it's loud and buzzy to drive, but I think I'll live without Maxine. I'm working on getting an ad together. Let's face it, Maxine is a luxury that isn't doing my bank account any favors, though I'm still hoping I can manage ZF etc without having to sell her. Maybe I should be looking for a better job?

Holly and Kristy are at DGRR, and I'm babysitting Britten for the weekend. Sweeeeeeet!

So some kind person thought they would be nice and swiftly take 2 sets of extra wheels that I had in a shed at my old house sometime in the last 2 weeks. I went over there today with a truck to get them and a sunroof assembly (the last bit of parts from the house) and they were nowhere to be found. The bastards even stole my old 4-lug spare tire. I'm imagining they scrapped them all, achieving a whopping $80, probably to be used for drugs or wasted in a similar manner. I did the math and I had about $160 invested in everything. Stupid, trashy people...

On a nice note, I've bought everything to get my FC put back together besides 4 bolts to block off the oil injectors. I got the 2 block off plates a few days back from Mazdatrix and I bought a set of oil cooler lines today. I tried looking at Home Depot and Autozone and I can't find short enough M10x1.25 bolts to plug up the oil injector holes. The shortest size is 25mm, and I'd really need a 15mm or shorter. Anyone know of any places that would carry them? I really don't want to get 25mm ones and put a stack of 3 or 4 washers on them...

Sorry, wasn't paying attention to the fact that it's Brett that needs fasteners. McMaster is in Atlanta, so shipping is fast and cheap, and they've got everything.

Shouldn't have called you out, Collin, wrong guy

S'all good, Crit!

On a side note, I really don't want to get rid of Maxine.. if that means missing Zoom Fest this year, I'll deal with it. I would probably trade her for a good Miata, stock TII of the right color, or a Z32 300zx, but selling the car would be a silly thing to do.

In the mean time, I will be continuing to sell parts that I've got and start a nice ZF piggy bank of sorts.

Hey Alex, Commerce is right next to where I live in Jefferson. I'll be home this afternoon if you want to stop in and pick up that hood and headlight cover. Send a pm if you are headed this way.

I've got FB trannies. Are you sure you don't need an SA tranny instead, Jeremy?

Well I was thinking a FB tranny would be easier to find, then I could just swap out my SA tail with it but if someone has a SA 5spd id be down for that too. PM what you want for it Crit. Mine is making noise pretty bad.

I could use a passenger fender, preferably silver or close.

Finally got around to ordering replacement tires for the one that got messed up when the bolt broke. So Saturday the FB should be off the + wheels finally. Sorry, just don't like those wheels. Sit too far in.
