Well, I'm back from India now and I've got the next week off, so the SE not only should make it, but I damn sure better have it well-sorted by then. We're at Jeffrey's again for April, right?

Wink Georgia High Tech Corridor

I recently made a 12 hour round trip drive from Charlotte to Fitzgerald GA to pick up a kiln I had purchased on fleabay. Most notable on the trip was that I got to see and experience for about 3 hours each way the Georgia High Tech Corridor.

In case you GA residents didn't know about this, it's basically state highway 319 from just south of Augusta running SW towards, you guessed it, Fitzgerald. For your enjoyment I have some photos of the corridor.

The first sign says "Georgia High Tech Corridor". Excuse the focus I was driving at the time I snapped this.

Heres a picture along the corridor. See all the high tech, look close its hiding in the swamps on the side of t he road.

Heres some of the high tech ready to go to work.

And finally heres a typical rest stop on the high tech corridor. I'm sure theres wireless access there somewhere

Ray, isn't that Ingles off of 29 in Athens?

The exhaust fell clean out of my Jetta a few days ago...so today, Brett and myself went to Pull-a-Part to get a new (used) system. It's now in the car, and it sounds brand new! Also installed a new Idle Stabilizer Valve, so it idles better than it did.

By the way, who's absolutely GORGEOUS red FC is that in the pics??

Mountain trip Saturday March 22. Next OG@TA meeting Tuesday April 1 at Jeffery's in Suwanee.

Collin I'm not sure where Paul took that artsy photo of his SA but since he lives over by Athens Ingle's it's a good possibility (although he is currently going to school down in Valdosta). Congrats on getting the VW fixed, it's good to know you young folks are capable and willing to get greasy.

Holly, I stand corrected, you are right, the official 12A count for the March meeting was 4.5 - the photos don't lie. That includes the gorgeous FC.

Did I mention my car's fixed? The drivers side halfshaft's still leaking a bit, so I've gotta fix that sometime in the next few days before it causes problems. But on the next meet, expect me there. And hopefully I can attend the Mountail Meet coming up. That's 2 days before my 17th birthday. And by the way Ray, Collin just mentioned how much faster his car is than yours on the phone...

I said my FC is faster than your FB.

Now, Ray, we should see if Commerce' drag strip has a night or something where you can run your car for free. I doubt they'd turn on the timers or anything like that, but you never know...
And if indeed they do have an open night, we shall race to the death!

We are planning run up to Gorges State Park for next weekend (3/22). The thread is in the SE section. That is right in your neck of the woods. Bring one of rotorys out. It would be great to get a couple of the local rotorheads out.
