He's reinstalling the stock door seal that came with the Silver One when I bought it because I stole the one that was on the White One that I bought from 1aauto six years ago for $60 (for the pair, with shipping). Since then that door seal has been on the Brown One, then on the Tan One, then on the White One and now it's on the Silver One.

I kinda like those 1aa's, a good $60 investment in my opinion.

Hey Ray, I am retarded, and totally forgot the most expensive thing in that old shell, the pioneer speakers in the front kick pannels, if you could just pull those for me, I am such an idiot.....

also, if anybody has a Series 3 (84-85) plastic shifter surround and boot, it's the main thing I am missing from my interior now, and another shift **** cause I still can't find my FC one

Well, I figured out why my exhaust is so loud. I remember the first time I fired it up with the carb on it, and it actually ran, I got a wicked backfire.

Well, that backfire busted the weld on the silencer near the end of the exhaust. I'll get pictures in the morning. It's pretty intense

So I can only assume Mike bought a new car to replace Ghost...and all I can say is that I'm slightly jealous. Other than not being a GSL-SE, I'd love to have that. Congrats, Mike!

IIRC Augusta? I'll let him tell the story

I only know that because I went and put a starter and window motor on Jim's red convertible FC Sunday, and we rode over to Mike's for a bit to test drive the car afterwards.

Anywho, about my new whip. I'm spending a few hours tomorrow tinkering with it, like programming the keyless entry, installing my mp3 jack, figuring out how to program presets, polishing the headlights, etc. It's like a Lexus to me since I've always driven RX7's

Sunil's post has gone bye-bye.

Some people don't understand how classified sections work, I guess...

New OGTA Ride

Yeah guys, we added an new ride to the OGTA fleet. It's not as cool as an old school rotary, but I have high hopes for it.

The Ghost is still running strong, even though he starts on 1 rotor. He even made the trip over to August to breath life back into the new FB.

I am planning to bring the new one out to the Dec OGTA meet. I tell the story then. It will probably be after the holidays before I am ready to make the new one my daily.

Thanks to Ray for giving the new one a bath for the picture below.

We're looking to make this work for everyone so let me know how Saturday, December 12th around 10 or 11 am works out for you guys. We want you all to come so we're gonna try and swing it so that everyone's schedule suits the date. In addition, we have parking for maybe 20+ cars.

It'll be a cold, all day event complete with raging bonfire, burgers, and the beer you provide (haha). Hope you guys can come by! Just reply here or text Ben or whatever if you have any questions. Don't know what they wanted me to do about the address so I guess that will be posted in the near future.

Thanks! -Juno
Juno, the 12th is about as good as it gets between now and the New Year. I suggest you set the date and go with it. It's impossible to get a date that works for everyone, especially during the holiday season.

Mark me down as a tenative. I'll know as we get a little closer to the 12th. Thanks.

Thanks Kent! Such a swell guy.

Hey, does anyone have a spare bucket I can borrow? Most of the water pours out of the truck when I open the doors, but there's still a little left. The good news is that it reminds me that I'm not yet ready for carpet.
