Haha I am going, and so is a friend of mine, Ray will be there for the occasional hand or part if needed, but he is going to be prepping for work on Monday. So the more hands the better.
I will probably annoy you all with the "thank you"s but you are the most awesome group of people to know. I am very fortunate to have the OGTA as part of what feels like a family.

being new to the forum, this project is pretty impressive. Michael posted in my intro post and pointed me towards this forum: https://www.rx7club.com/introduce-yourself-254/low-budget-83-gsl-868900/
I'm looking forward to meeting some of you guys and getting some ideas on how to improve my low budget fb.

I had to leave at 5:30 to get the trailer home before dark. By the time I left we had the entire running gear, front suspension, rear suspension and exhaust swapped.
We did it in major assemblies so much of it is still intact how it was running before. I even think his caster and toe are still set.
I could have run by then if we tossed a battery in.
All that is left are the small things. Change the fluids and triple check all the nuts and bolts.

You mean like a commune Michael? That would be cool, we could make Mike Simonovich our Spiritual Leader.
bfh, hope you can join up with us at the next monthly OGTA meeting, Jefferies in Suwanee, Tuesday November 3rd at 6:30 pm (that's Tuesday after next).
With some daylight this morning I was able to truly appreciate what all those OGTA's did yesterday, it's outstanding work and Billy is correct, all the White One/Sexy Pants II needs now is a batteryto fire up the 13B. Unfortunately Chris' battery platform got crumbled in the accident and I don't have another one, so he's going to have to duck tape it in. Anybody got a spare?
Chris and buddy Shawn are out there working on interior details, electrics and other fun stuff. Shouldn't be long now. I'll make a video.

Good to hear SPII is done!
On other news, my carb is bolted up to the 13B, but a small issue has arisen. It will idle around 800-1k, but if it's idling and I give it gas, the idle drops, and it'll stall. I'm thinking the jets are just not getting enough fuel, because if I pump the gas before I give it the gusto, it revs just fine...
Any ideas? Kent, did you find the right size jets?

Also Billy, Kevin gave me a part to give to you. I don't remember what it was, or what it looked like. I think I found it...
Does that look familiar?
Maybe Kevin will jump on here and correct me?

I hear you Michael, a gas leak like that could be a real fire hazard. Fortunately it turned out that we hadn't put any fuses in the fuse box yet, so the chances of a spark were minimal.
And I think I was so overwhelmed by the beauty of Gene's Model A that I forgot to take pictures. It's metallic purple, the rear tires are about a foot and a half wide (each), it has a chevy 350 with a Holley and some big old chrome header pipes collecting to 5" tubes on each side. And it even has some original Model A parts.
Gene, you got a photo?
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Sexy Pants Lives! She fired up and her Del Hortos were sucking air like nothing ever happened.

Yea. According to Ben, that sucker was squirting well, so I'm thinking the jets may just be too small, and not squirting enough to keep it going...
And Ray, I'm assuming that's you laughing in the SPII start up vid? I'm really glad to see you're still alive to tell the tale...
