Congrats on post #2,600 Crit! Hey Kevin, wasn't the Turd an 83 GSL? And you were just kidding about selling the red car, right?

I'm right next to Northlake Mall in NE Atlanta, but I can drive pretty much anywhere in Middle to North GA. Also I only need a spindle for the driver's side, or do they need to be replaced in pairs?

Cool Karl, that's practically the RX-7 center of the universe. I work at Mercer, near Spaghetti junction, let's do lunch sometime (I owe Mike at least two Chinese lunches in the Spaghetti Junction neighborhood, we can have a meeting).

Dudes I'm getting ready for the 4th, anybody got any rotary barbaque plans?

I've got Rotax barbeque plans. Not the same, but close. We'll be at the lake house, and I'll be taking mental notes on how to fit twice as many cars in the front yard

On a related note, I'm looking for a trailer-tow receiver if anyone has a good lead on one. I don't want a big nasty bumper on the REPU, but I would love to be able to tow with it. If anyone knows of a receiver that's flat (no jogs to get over a muffler or anything) let me know.

Yeah, lets do lunch sometime.

Karl, don't fret over the tires. You can give them back at the next convenient opportunity.

No rotary barbaque for me. I might be doing some honey-do projects around on the house. I still have not finished the closets I was working on. Thankfully, everytime I have time I don't have money or visa versa.

I can do lunch, too. I've got to go down to Ga Tech sometime next week while I'm off work, and pick up a set of wheels for the truck. If y'all really want to do lunch, I'm available all week. Someone put out a day.

How 'bout this Thursday or next Thursday? I know a good place, right near the Chambly-Tucker/285E exchange.

Now all I can think about is Chinese food. Maybe it's not too late to talk with Cathy about what's for dinner.

Hey did anybody notice the flag I put on my car? I'm feeling the love, man.

The only problem is Karl works every weekday and he might have to miss lunch unless we do it on a saturday or Sunday. I need to know by the Wednesday on the week before we plan it so I can ask off from work myself.

I was bored and Brett's photoshop as well as Ray's flag photoshop inspired me to do this:

I've got to re-paint my sunroof. I had rust from the inside of the roof due to condensation. Does anyone know of a place where I can get the existing paint analyzed and new paint mixed to match to the existing color?

So I'm contemplating something... I took Collin his miata back this evening, and when he was bringing me home we got to talking. This Thursday and Friday we're both free, and we could swap in my other motor with less than half the miles I currently have on mine (260K>115K). Do you think we could both get it done in that time and have all the quirks worked out? I've got the air tools and he's got the lift, so it shouldn't be too big of a bitch. What do you guys think?

Next Thursday (7/9) lunch. Ray, I assume you have a hankering for the Hunan Inn, at Chambly-Tucker/285E, is that right?

Who can make it?

7/9 at the Chambly-Tucker/285E Hunan Inn works for me, anybody else? You can check out my new side exhaust and magic rims that don't need tires.

Greg, there is a auto paint supply store on Hurricane Shoals Rd, between Hwy 20 and the airport in Lawrenceville that can do that. I think the name is Auto Color something, but not sure. I'm sure they're in the phone book.

On another note, this lunch thing next Thursday sounds interesting.

Greg, if your paint is close to original (compare the door jamb, which doesn't see light, to the spot you're concerned about) you can order color matches to the original paint pretty cheap online.

Greg the Elder's paint color is anything but original. Kind of New Age/Old Age mid-90's midlife crisis inverted prostate purple. But I like it.

Hey Greg the Younger and Kevin the Elder, stop by for the power lunch at the Hunan next Thursday!

And I'm skipping out on this... I need to get a few things before I do the swap and I don't have enough time, so sometime in the next few weeks I'm going to try again.
