Had the switch just failed? No a/c and not being able to roll down the windows = instant death. haha I'll let you guys know but hopefully everything looks good and I will pick it up monday night. I know he said he had replaced the seats, fixed something that was wrong with the bumper and replaced the sunroof ( i don't know what was wrong with it ).

Well this guy didn't do the swap but if it runs good I would assume everything is done properly. I've owned an fc n/a and an fc TII but never a swapped one.

Did you do the swap or the owner before you? Do you know if it was the TII rear end as well? I'm just kind of wondering what all came off the TII. Thanks for the info man I can't wait to get my hands on this thing.

I'm going to pick it up tonight. I'm so glad I'll be driving something turbo again. I was going to ask him tonight but I was wondering if it was still on the stock fuel pump and injectors.

Me and that car were the only turbo 7's that used to go to Bj's back in the day=) or walmart.

Didnt know it was still around though. Let me know when you get it. First thing is a quick compression test.=D ANd i have a wideband we can see if its running rich enough.

He just recently had it rebuilt so compression should be good otherwise I'm fucked. I ordered a boost gauge today. Then I guess I'll be going with an walboro and a manual boost controller just to try to limit boost to around 10psi. Until I can get some injectors and something to control everything with.

I think it is the stock pump and injectors. I'm wondering how much boost it's actually hitting. That's why I already ordered the gauge I won't be going wot until I see how high the boost is getting.

good luck bro, the only problem i had with it was surging, it turned out to be tps related other than that i'd change the battery cables, i put allot in that car cleaning it up, it had sat collecting leaves a while, i buffed it a little but it will clean up better doing it again, also had the h.d. radio installed, tinted the windows, fixed the shifter boot plus those new tires

I went and picked it up. He pulled the radio out I'm guessing I'm gong to put a cd player and iPod hook up next week. Hopefully all the speakers are still hooked up. I'm debating on whether or not I want to sand it down and get rid of the dents and scratches and primer it

Ya man I drove it home and drove it to work this morning. This weekend it's oil change time and hopefully my boost gauge gets in. I might try to hook the cd player up as well.

DO not WOT this car yet.

1. Make sure it has a FCD.
2. Make sure it has turbo 550cc x 4 injectors and atleast a turbo II fuel pump.
3. I suggest stock 7 psi or as close as low as you can get it.
4. Its always a good idea to periodically check your compression.

I have a chart. I try to do it atleast 1 every 2 months.

EWW. Sticky throttle is scary. I had a close one once. The nuts on the throttle cable, near the TB, had unscrewed itself. Once i put the nut bad it was fine.

Also, Does anyone have any headlight assemblies? I need one of the rods that attaches to the motor to be able to fix mine. its the little rod thats on the headlight motor. ABout 2-3 inches long with a ball joint thingy.

i thought i had that linkage because i have extra set of headlights but it was missing then i figured i'd pull it off my car since my headlights will not be used as pop ups anymore but both of the rods were gone from there to
