I,ve been reading alot on how to mod the stock turbos to prevent boost creep.
This one of the methods i read here on the forum. Basically. The back plate of the turbo doesnt let the internal wastegate flapper open all the way.
It actually hits the back plate.
SO the easy mod is to grind away at the back plate where the flapper makes contact.
This is my first try. SHould be testing it soon.
PS. currently my psi is 7 and creeps to 9 psi in thrid. But on cold nights i have seen 11psi in 4th gear.

If S4, then you should grind out the WG hole and weld on a bigger flapper disc while your at it.
Also spotted white Vert with lip kit or body kit on Shindler Ave going towards Argyle. Was Going opposite way towards 103rd.
lol
Thanks everyone! Yeah I guess this thread has become a sort of local help forum too which is cool with me since it'll keep us close together and informed on what's going on. Besides I've received some help here so I'm definitely not complaining

Well, It didnt really work. Maybe fixed 1 psi of creep at the most. Im taking it back off. Getting a caliper and im gonna remove as much material as possible. Im trying this out on a my stock s5 turbo. Not my BNR.
You still get boost creep even on the BNR? I thought they ported even the S5 WGs? That kinda sucks if you are getting boost creep even on the upgraded porting on the BNR..
IM testing this ont he stocker Not the BNR.
Ive had the BNR out of the car for about 3 months now.
BUt yes even a BNR will boost creep. Here read this thread.

Hey guys greeting from Souda Bay, Crete, Greece. I have to say it is great getting off the damn boat although there were a couple really cool events that you can only experience on a sub. Hope you guys are having fun and I'll post at our next port. By the way Greece is beatiful and oh yeah "I'M ON A BOAT BITCH!"
Yeah I just forgot to post it on here. The car hasn't overheated since that night I added half a gallon of coolant and water so maybe it just needed to be refilled (had a faulty coolant sensor so I just took it off completely). As for the leak it may have been from a tiny *** leak that I can't find anywhere that is dripping onto the frame and just collected a **** load of oil on it's way down. I haven't been dripping any oil except for a tiny amount (a drop or two) near the oil pan but I think that's normal.
My main issue now is getting my car to idle right since I had someone help me delete the emissions but didn't finish the job. I also need to get my flywheel resurfaced and maybe bearings? Last but not least I also have an exhaust leak coming near the manifold because one of the bolts fell out and I think it needs a gasket. But I need help for all of these things so I'm going to visit Norm tomorrow and hopefully Josh can lend me a hand on the weekends too.
More fun for my broke ***
I might just sell the damn thing as is. I already have pics but really want to sell it for more than what most people are asking because of all the replacing and care I put into this car. The engine is pretty much rebuilt new so I don't want to be lowballed and I'm still searching for a new ride.

just checked my pm's and I had pm'd you about it a few weeks ago when I first saw it listed. It's the same car.
It's blueish from what I can see in the pictures. If you're the original owner I had talked to you when it was for sale a few months ago. I just didn't have the funds ready yet. I emailed the guy selling it and he told me he had traded another car for it. Is it in pretty good shape does it run good? That's my main concern is how it runs..... I'm going to check it out tonight.
