Hey guys lately I've been noticing a couple of new 7's around town and I thought I would create a new thread so whenever we see new people we can refer them to an official thread. Also, since Pete is in Tallahassee and Bill's moving to Arizona, I guess I'll take over the organizing of local meets in Jacksonville. Unless of course anyone else vouches otherwise and would like someone else to take over.

I've meet most of you at one point or another in the last 3 meets, but for new members (and those who weren't at the last meet) I'm the proud owner of a white GTU (see profile) and I usually bring sweets to the meets.

So I'm going to PM some members from the last couple of meets about this thread to get us a good start. In the meantime remind any rotary owners about the RX7club and encourage them to check out our thread

Oh damn you didn't tell me you quit Citi at the last meet?? Yeah I'm actually gonna start my new job next month over there.

Anyways, I'd like to mention that I saw a black FD last night on my home from work around 9pm. It was on Monument Road coming out of that neighborhood across from the HESS gas station and shopping center near Lowe's. I noticed he gave a second look when he realized my FC at the stoplight, but I couldn't make a "legal" U-turn to follow and I was in a rush to get home anyways lol.

 

I've off and on seen a yellow FC, don't know who it belongs to... but they visit someone near my house off and on.... Haven't really seen too many others lately though...
How many actually use theirs as a daily driver too?

 

mine is in my front driveway awaiting its fresh rebuilt 13bt and some body work. anyone know the guy with the red gtu that comes to arlington sometimes, i see it at a house off of shady oak. and sometimes i see a blue gtu at sonic sometimes.

 

i am the proud owner of the red FC. i live in arlington, but i dont see much around besides one that delivers for pizza hut.

 

I drive the white 1st gen with mesh wheels and sounds like a BMW, used to have a turbo FB but now have this car with the crazy engine swap.

Uh hey guys. Proud owner of a white FD. Somewhat new to the GA/FL area. Definitely don't know my way around the Jacksonville area too much but learning little by little. Still trying to find a place to tune my car as well, preferably a place experienced using the Apexi PFC. I was taken aback to finally meet more 7 owners near this area, since this was the first in the year I've been here. So nice to meet you guys and I hope to see you all around.

 

I also live in the arlington area. But for now car is int he backyard waiting for an engine.

yeah. i think the guy who owns it's name is danny. its a T04 with a microtec. he hangs out with a guy in a purple turbo civic with a integra front end

 

^Oh yeah Danny! I've never seen Danny's car, but I did meet him at a Sonic's meet last year. He's a friend of Russ (I think you already left by the time Russ showed up in his blue and white S4 last meet).

Yes I drive mine around... it's faded... and this yellow one I see is off 103rd Street and Hillman.


I off and on see others... but have never seen a lime green one....

 

oh okay, dont think thats me then. but i have heard of a yellow FC that works somewhere along normandy. but this was a few years ago.

A buddy of mine lives at the beach. Im out there pretty often. But i live in arlington. ANd yes the five star ones.

 

this is going to be way OT but just want to throw a heads up.

Rock Band 2 SE is $109 with a free $25 gift card at toys r us. they were out at the town center TRU but wal mart price matched them. just no gift cards.

Saw a brown FB pullin out of Mike Davidson parkin lot in regency over the weekend, anyone know that one?

Quick question any other FD's nearby? I've seen a silver FB in the Wal-Mart parking lot near where I live but never any FD's.

 

I don't know, anyone with a lime green rx-7 and a purple civic must be a little (ALOT) frou frou . Just saying.... I'd watch who you start hanging out with . Sorry Danny and J.T, I need to pick at someone!
