AE RACER. My brother has never messed with a microtech nor tuned a rotary.. But he has experience with POwer FC, nistune, DSM link, and a couple more. I am sure that he has the fastest stock turbo evo in jax. NO BS. People pay him 300 bucks a tune. He Is underground and doesnt use dyno's.

HE knows how to scale injectors and everything. HE also uses a innovative wideband for propper AFR's. I could ask him to do the AFR's on yours. HE always wanted the chance to tune a rotary.

No offense to anyone, but you were planning on paying him??
I could see if maybe he was an expert at it and all, but if its his first time, I wouldn't pay a dime until he has proven himself. Take him out to lunch or something.

As in-- a hook up.

But if i ask-- its not a guarantee he will do it. But i could try=)

Yea I wasn't planning on paying him for a full tune, but for using the wideband. another way to look at it is I'm giving him a chance to learn the microtech software.

Anyone have a spare s4 headlight switch? Think mine went this morning....only my headlights themselves are coming on. No tails or bumper lights. I drive at 5am every morning so I need one pretty quick..

My bro has a wide band so there is no way of him f-ing up the AFR's. You can talk all you want but the AFR's are cake walk with a wideband. And he tunes on the road so there is no charge for dyno time.

Oh, I see, but shouldn't anyone with aftermarket fuel parts on their car be using a WBO2? I can't see how driving around w/o one being safe at all..
Even with super safe tuning, that's not to say a fuel pump wont start crapping out, or maybe an injector failing. If that were to happen, then pop goes your engine, because you have no way to know..
I'd would personally spend an extra 200 even for a crappy WBO2 then have a costly rebuild due to some sort of failure.

^^
The only way you would pop a motor in that situation is if the pump/injectors fails at high rpms/boost. Otherwise your engine would cut off or just miss.
You have more of a chance blowing your motor like i did. (too lazy to drop a gear and loaded the engine in 5th at too low of an rpm) POP went my apex seal.

Fact. I have driven my car 10-15 min on one rotor because my primary front injector would stop working out of nowhere. I have since replaced my injector plugs which fixed my prob.

still wont start?
Take out a spark plug. DOes it look wet? smell of gas?
If so. Try taking the EFI fuse off. This fuse in on the driver side strut tower on the engine bay. It is the green fuse. With the fuse off. crank the car for 5 secs a times. about 2 or 3 times. This is a commonly used deflood method.

Put the fuse back. And try to start it.

If this is not the prob. Check for spark and fuel.

Possibly? I might of made boost with my BNR since i loaded it pretty good.( the higher the gear the sooner the boost will come on). turbo rotaries are really touchy in the 2000-3700 rpms range. OUr ecu's suck *****? Thats why the knock sensor works up to 4000 rpms only then shuts off. N/a rotaries dont use knock sensors.

DO not load the engine at this rpm region!!! Trust me. I know. Many people in this forum have lost popped their engines on stupid crap like that. ALways use the right gear when speeding up.
