Alternator!

 

stu i can get you the s5 alternator. unfortunately the girl already sold the cars wednesday. i have managed to round up a new set of apex seals and a mint rotor housing. i still need an s5 rotor either c, d, or e weight and a gasket set. so if anybody knows where one is cheap dear god please let me know.

 

I am heading to the pull apart later tomorrow (today) and get some pics/parts of the RX's there.

Hey guys i got my paint for the 7 friday after work. I think im going to work on prepping everything the best i can this week and maybe next weekend work on shooting it. I looks like it will be a nice color. Its a dark blue/purple/black color LOL. I will take some pics of the process and hopfully it will be back together by the next meet.

 

No, I started the mods back in 91 with the Dell, RB pulleys and wires and the RE tuned exhaust. I'm just catching up for lost time, thats all. You won't see much more done now until I blow this motor which could be anyday now :-D

Thats sounds awesome man. The color sounds... interesting. The second I read purple I thought of my brothers cavalier.. Its that pimptastic purple color.

I just got done wiping it all down with 3812s, i will be working on it this week and take some pics next weekend when i goto paint. The color is not really black or purple, they had to add a couple drops to of those to get the color. It is actually a 1998 nissan "bright blue".

 

Man, those 7's at pull apart are mad stripped. Must be first gen guys out there pulling all th parts I wanted... Radiator, alternator, sensors, etc.

They've been there almost 2 weeks now. Did they still have motors? What was left?

 

Motors were there, but when I spun one over, it spewed coolant out the front rotor. The other I could not spend. I brought the tools to remove the alternator only, so its not like I would get far. Although they had a GXL with the electronic suspension down there, complete as well. I took the strut tower caps on the front off, and got them for free

I have no use for them since I run a strut bar. If anyone wants them, let me know, I'll bring them next meet and you can have them.

my car had a little hiccup when at a level rpm range. I filled her up with 93 octane and 10oz MMO and ran the guts out of her for the whole tank. Now its smooth sailing. I've got just about everything back to excelent working order except the wiper switch. anyone got one with the rear wiper. thanx

 

anyone else going to the speedfest at Road Atlanta??(AKA,.."The Mitty") I just got our 3 day pass' with infield parking.( Which for those that have not been to road Atlanta means driving all over the track for the best location of all the different corners etc..)

Mazda will be bringing all there top race cars and prototype rx7's such as the 787B The crawford/Downing prototype rx7-92p etc..

We sould caravan down there. We are going to stay at a days inn( In Gainsville, 11 miles away from the track) due to my recent back surgery( don't want to camp on the ground yet)

Just a thought guys, I have nothing but time on my handfs for a couple months Road Atlanta is a AWSOME venue. Very beautyfully laid out. A great place for gear heads to gather and hang out.

The 2nd round of the MX5 cup is held during the event.

welllll i'm putting the FC down again. after i tuned our shop civic i have to step up and beat the numbers with my rotary hahaha!

the Zac Attack block is almost ready but i'm in need of a new turbo.. either going with the Borg Warner S480 or the Garret GT47.

this ofcourse after a few projects are out of the shop so i have room for the ol beast again

and in case any are interested i did 582whp/ 480tq in our Civic. it's kinda weird spinning drag radials at 130mph in 5th lol!

i'm shooting for 750rwhp in the FC this go around

yea it spins 70+ mph as it is i'll have better traction next go around...

what's funny is i can't remember who, but i told someone on here that my car was only making 260rwhp when they came by the shop
