See......I told you that along time ago. It starts off innocent enough with "I'm just going to remove the rast nest", then BAM! Working two jobs to support that carck habit that is the Rotary engine. Your crack right now is a half bridge. Then you get into harder stuff like PP engines that cause you to have black outs during use. I told you man. It just keeps going down hill from here !

it's hard to say... in theory you will need a larger carb. i was using a 48 sidedraft on my stock 12a when i was blow-thru for a minute

the 45 will work no doubt, but you'll probably be using F7's or F11's (can't remember off top of my head) with a rediculous jet which off boost might not be so much fun.

Lost all compression on all faces of the rotor? Did you pull the plugs and spin it to verify?

RX7's always seem to go at the weirdest times... Sorry to hear about that man!

yea i pulled the trailing plug on it and it wouldnt do anything. i held my finger over the hole in disbelief thinkin my compression tester was screwed up. but of course not. but me and my brother worked on it for about an hour and called off the engine pull do to lack of heat. just got the 2 motor mount bolts and 1 bell housing bolt to pull in the morning and jerk it out. then i guess its time to start crappin money for the rebuild kit. i guess i may as well get some porting templates while im in there and do that too. but as i said earlier this is gonna be a learning experience, and i hope and pray all my mics and calipers are still in calibration seein as i havent had to use them in years. but if i have any questions ill deffinately run them by you guys.

I would be interested in getting some stuff off that car myself. I'm always robbing parts from second gens to keep the first gens rolling . I'll need to see what day that I could go with you.

One down, one to go...

Still need to do some slight trimming, since the bottom lit line looks a little bit of a curve.

I'v been watching your progress on these lights in the first gen section. Can't wait to see them this Sunday. I have a nice RB intake and Holley sitting on the shelf in the garage if your interested. Just throwing it out there for you. I put a SPR intake and carb on the SA over the weekend, and reinstalled the MOP. No more premixing for the SA ! I fugured if a non Rotary person buys the car, that's something that they wouldn't understand. I also got the carpet changed out, that Ray gave me. That made a big inprovement on the looks of the interior. I'm so excited on how the SA is coming, that I don't know if I should drive it or the Turbo FB this Sunday .

I vote for bring the SA. I want to see the interior now that you have more finished parts.

Not sure I like the light thing, but maybe once I see it live I'll change my mind. Did you get the clutch hydraulics fixed?

I have some things I've been working on, but I'll leave them as a surpise for the meet

Nice taillights Stu. I'm not completely getting what you're doing there, but maybe it will be obvious when we see them in person.

Anybody headed down for the OGTA meet tomorrow (Tues) night at Crit's house?

Well fellas... I've been talked out of selling the Single turbo FD... Now I'm just going to sell the Auto FD. I'm such a girl huh? ha ha... (no offense to any girls that might be reading this)... I'll be at the meet in spirit. Unfortunately, I will be running around in the woods playing Army at Ft. Bragg Fri-Sun. Hope the meet goes well. You guys take it easy.

coming up 77 north get off at exit 36 and take a left off the ramp, it will take you back over the interstate and go about a 1 to 1 1/2 miles, and it is on your right, you will see a target and dick's sporting goods back behind it.
