Holy crap Long! Can you say "two stepin"?
That reminds me. I need to get some video of my rev limiter that I built. Works like a charm, and the best part is I can change the rpm of the rev limiter on the fly. Anywhere from 3k to 12k rpms.

New Charlotte guy trying to get a feel for the area. Are there more FD’s in the area that I just have not seen? I live in Waxhaw and have only seen three FD’s in the past three years of living here. I do want to make one of the meets especially since I am in search of FD parts. When is the next meet and do you guys, change the locations of the meets? Are there any South Charlotte FD’s?
Need list:
• ASP/M2 SMIC or PFS if the price is right
• PFS catback
• M2/SRMotorsports/Rotaryengines.com air intake (polished or black no carbon fiber)

Hey mnrthrt! It's a pleasure to have you join us
So guys, did some datalogging yesterday with my LC-1 to visually see what my car is doing when my boost sensor is plugged vs. unplugged. Sam, me and you had worked on this problem at your house a couple months ago.
So here's what you're looking at. At 30 seconds I give the car light throttle like I would to accelerate from a light then at 40 seconds I give it more throttle, enough where I would have gone into boost if the car was under load and not free revving. These were with the boost sensor disconnected, you can see it richen at 40 seconds to compensate me increasing the throttle input like it should...
At around 1:20-1:25 seconds I reconnected the boost sensor and did the exact same test. You can see how erratic the AFR's get and it leans out hard when I give it more throttle?

Also, I did some datalogging comparing my AFR's with and without my methanol...I logged a 10.17 AFR at full throttle at 7k rpms with my methanol and turned right around and shut her off and did the same WOT to 7k rpms and logged a 10.73 AFR! Crazy how big of a difference it makes and that wasn't even under load! Cool stuff...

sam, this guy said he'd tried to PM you about boost prepping a nikki, thought you may be interested. https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/boost-prep-carb-someone-answer-me-907351/
Sorry guys. I haven't been on much this week. I hate taking classes during the summer, but o'well. I have class Monday through Thursday, then I am working Friday and Saturday. I hope to see the new-comers at the next meet. If you guys check the thread we meet the second Sunday of each month at LaJoya in Mooresville off exit 36.
I'll give the Supras credit for digging off the line. They kill us in torque. I can't wait till this Sunday so I can show off my rev limiter. I made this one using a Summit Racing adjustable shift light and three relays. Ask Manny. It works flawlessly. The coolest part is that I can adjust it from 3k to 12k on the fly. Just turn the dial
well i'm being charged 150 for the install on the cat/split tube, new connecting flange on the rear pipe to bolt up the cat [ its welded right now ] and make a new peice for the rear section over the suspention to straighten the muffler out and set it back a inch or two....i don't think 150 is too bad,, it isn't great but not bad...call me cheap....plus sat doing the oil change, brake fluid change, plugs, and air filter, so she will be fresh for sunday..hehe
