I77 & I40 Crossroads rotary meet
ha....pic flood.....anyways, stripped everything down....cleaned, painted satin black...high temp in engine parts...etc....regular in bay....took a bunch of useless wires out and re-wrapped harness, got tired of black so I started polishing....got tired of polishing but i was in too deep....changed my mind about polishing....kicked myself in *** and kept polishing....got tired of satin black, sprayed everything gunmetal....made custom heat shield from my liscense plate holder off my bike...mounted plate to swingarm, decided if a cop got that close I was on the ground in pain anyway....theres my redneck speed jack....theres my fuel pump from my bike breakdown....theres my garage door on my car....sorry about the pic constipation people...my camera has been down
^^ Good deal!! No more Zoom Zoom Boom please!!
Here is what happened after cleanig. Much better looking. Still have the oil pan to clean better and paint tomorrow. Also the radiator shrouds are in 3 coats of rustoleum for rott stop( out of POR15), Then tomorrow they get primered, sanded and sprayed in black base/clear coat. Should be slick.
The engine I am leaving all Aluminum colored until I rebuild it. The water pump will be black and the alternator and The intake manifold are getting color matched to the enginebay. Sanding the enginebay tomorrow as well. Got it nice and clean with the pressure washer and SG. Hopefully doing the tranny as well tomorrow, lots on the plate though. It will be Aluminum as well. Still shooting for a completed enginebay by next weekend hopefully. I still have the cradle and suspension to tend to paint wise as well. And the rear axle...It never ends!! But I love it. Kinda sick

I don't follow? Up untill today, I was the only TII swap in the area. Long just finally started seeing the light. The driveability and reliability is way better than going blowthrough. Don't get me wrong. I had alot of fun with my blowthrough. Made damn good power, but going FI was one of the best things I have ever done in my FB
FI 12A is what I am doing eventually. Blowthru carb tuning is a artform all to itself. I know many old school tuners that love them on there chevy's and such. When there was no FI they HAD to perfect what they had. And most old school tuners are too damn stuborn to learn the FI since they have blowthrus dialed. FI is a quick fix to some tuning issues. It also has a mess of it's own when you start changing alot of parameters of your set-up.
Each has it's pros and cons IMO.

You got it.
I don't think there is anything sexier than a TII first gen.
Dave, if your looking to FI your 12A, be on the look out for a GSL-SE 13B center iron. You can run a TII lower and upper with an intake adapter. Use all the sensors, MAF, and harness too. Then you can run the 12A with a second gen ECU. The simplest way to go. If you can get all TII sensors and ECU, you can turbo the 12A with the FI.

Just waiting for sam to help me put the harrness in. So it should be runing later on today
