i'm gonna try to make it out sunday.

finally got a header put on and man it's a whole different car now lol. i do need to put something to quiet it down, turns out the cat that was in it when i bought it had been hollowed out so i said screw it and straight piped it for now, sounds like a beefed up weedeater lol, i love it, but its so loud eventho i have the silencer on that cheap can on and all the way closed, and having that on there like that defeats the purpose of the header...

On my FB I have a RB header into 2 1/2 inch straight back. In the middle I have a 2 1/2 inch thrush( glasspack). At the end is Stu's old Mazdaspeed exhaust can. It sounds pretty decent I think,..for a ghetto fabbed exhaust

hell yeah, no complaints with sound quality, its the loudness lol. how is that glasspack holding up? i hear rotaries burn them up in no time.

also i think my Alt. is dying here lately the highest my voltage has gone is 12.5 and as low as 11.5 when i have everything turned on. it used to only go as low as 12.5, and constantly stayed around 13.5, i'm gonna go over and clean the grounds and hope i get lucky.

They will burn them out after a while, but the trick to get them to last a little longer is to install them with the internal flutes facing the rear of the exhaust.

Since Long and Dre hasn't had the opertunity to post, I will be the bearer of good news. Long is now the proud owner of a slightly used '87 TII. We brought the car out of retirement today. The last inspection on the car was '97. I think it's time the old car is going back on the road .

nice coilovers Stu!! ReSpeed is the only way to go for the FB stuff IMO I can't wait till i do the coil overs and steering rack components. I am not replacing any of the stock stuff until I do the ReSpeed stuff.

Yeah, hitted him up and asked what would make the biggest difference, the coilovers or the R&P kit. Next up would be to put my bushings in.

From I 77 Come west on 150( towards O'charly's) Take a left at Williamson Rd( The light before O'charly's) Go about 2 miles south and the BK is on the left hand side of the road.

Coming from the West on 150 just take a Right on Williamson Rd and go about 2 miles. BK will be on the left

I believe there is a Wallgreens or CVS at the intersection of Williamson and 150. Also a couple fuel stations

I might be going up to the mountains for a day on the river, I have got to try out my new fly fishing gear. Anyways I have to flush and re bleed my clutch system, its acting up on me. If im at home I will definitely come down but im not 100% sure whats going on. I really need to get some stuff finished up on the car before next weekend.

Good to see some of you guys again. Back home in VA right now. Worked on 3 RX-7s during these past 3 days.

Kory: No problem. Happy to help. Let me know how it goes. Feel free to ask me questions. Either you have a clog somewhere or a dying fuel pump. A clog would be my first guess considering what condition the tank was in before.

Patrick: Good to meet you. Wish we could have had a chance to come by and check out your setup, but we ran out of time. Next time I am in the area, I would like to come and check it out.

ya i definately think its a clog, i took the fuel pump off because i was going to change it and I found the inlet screen from the tank side of the pump was COMPLETELY clogged, so i cleaned it out, started it up and drove it with not much change...
so i said screw it ill change the pump anyway and when i took it back off the screen was already half full again!

nice short meet , quite the eventful day after running behind for a few minutes because 13" wheels and wet grass don't mix with curves and big oak trees, and missing BK, i got to see "SOMEONE" try to cut down some trees and re-route the way to Sam's house while still in the car. just glad and lucky no one got hurt, no tickets were issued, and last but not least no real harm done to the car(s)....hell of a meet!
