As usual, you guys are ahead of us on the cards, but I'm working on it.

What do you think about this for a logo:

Not too bad Ray. BTW, glad to see you are keeping up with the NC crew. I don't know when I'll be able to get e chance to come down and visit you guys again, but the next time you see Stu, be sure to throw some parts my way. If there is anything I owe you for these parts, you just let me know. I have to swap the tranny in the SA, starting popping out of 5th. Sucks, but o'well, I have a spare in the garage . Just glad it made it to Atlanta and back before it starting acting up!

Hey Sam, that car's older than you. What'd'ya expect? It got you home, right?

The SC's are having a get together this weekend, think I'll go down and check it out. Last one of the year, you know.

If you are heading down there that is just more of a reason for me to head also. I love going to meets. Never been to a SC meet yet. I got a deal with a guy going on with 3 12a's I will be picking up soon on the west side of Columbia. That should make 4 extra 12a engines I have here to tear down an rebuild. The transmission will be a great learning experience for me as well. I am toying with the idea of sending the internals to get cyro treated and swap it with the FB tailshaft, if it is cheap enough. Granted, I can get a TII transmission in prime condition for about 300ish if I pick it up, but the idea of staying as close to stock as possible is so alluring. 12a FTW!

PS lovin the logo you got there!

Edit: I guess for you that would me heading UP there

The SC meeting is about three hours south east from here, but we are getting heavy rain this morning that is supposed to continue through the day, so I don't think I'm going to make it. Too bad, we need the rain but I was looking forward to a nice drive and meeting those SC guys. You being there would be a bonus Stu - that must be a four or five hour drive for you!

So.......I finally got the spare FB tranny in the SA today. I didn't have to cut as much of the shifter hole out as I thought I would. Maybe two inches back. Everything seems to be working fine now. Let's just keep our fingers crossed! Hey Stu. Looks good. Too bad you don't have the throttle cable hooked up. So, did anyone else get any new RX7 gifts for Christmas? BTW, if you had the alternator side mounted, that would really freak people out!

Stole the words right out of my mouth. I am really thinking about ditching AC and putting the alternator there. Why have the AC when it doesn't work... Yeah, no throttle cable hook up and no dizzy vacuum line connections. I figure I will just advance the timing and leave the dizzys open to vent.

Post up a pic of the shifter and whatnot man! I am interested in seeing it.

I got a heater and a radio for my sirius to hook up to in the garage. So i have been out in the garage with the DA and the filler and fiberglass. As well i have been wekding the cracks in my fenders from the collision i had. Slow process and the sanding takes forever but it is coming along. I am taking the bumper to work tommorow and try to finish sanding it. ( better compressor, Mine I have to keep waiting for it to catch up )

I hope to have it on the road again by the meet. I am dangerous now that i have heat and tunes. I am tearing all sorts of things off. I removed the rad to have the leak reapired, started relocating electrical stuff etc... having fun.

Looks good Stu, What are dizzy's?...edit: just came to me. is it the distributor vaccum advance you are calling dizzy?

Yeah the vac advance. Screw it, I'll just advance it a few degrees and leave them. It sucks, I hope I can make the next meet in a 7... My car won't even start right now. It keeps flooding EVERY time

I need a heater... Hey! Let me borrow your place! Jk. Throw some pictures up if you can.

which rotor is flooding? Or is it both.. Are those carbs new to you? Have you been thru them. Not to familiar with the rx7 carbs out there. I am handy with motorcycle carbs if they are anything like that at all.

I can take pics and email them and have someone else post them. I am retarded when it comes to shrinking them to fit on th eforum. Plus not much to look at. Just a bunch of dust on the floor and sanded parts. But i will take some and send them to you if you feel like dealing with posting them.

I think i am going to drop the diff out and clean and repaint the housing. As well i am going to check the condition of the Kaaz LSD and the gear lash. Starting to make some clunking and whining. My "i'll just check this out list"is getting longer and longer. And I haven't even begun to rebuild the tranny 5th gear synchro

Both. I think I am going to have to reset my adjustment screws. That may be the problem. Got it started once, but could not keep it running (no throttle cable.

Easiest way to shrink and post them is in MSPaint. Go to Image then Stretch/Skew, and put in something like 40 in the first 2 boxes. Then go to Tinypic.com and upload it there, and post the 2nd link it gives you. If you want I can do this, but its FYI. Email is Jeezusrx7@yahoo

here we go left and right fenders afer welding and filler and much sanding. Then primer for now. Sorry. no before pics. In the middle of the wheelwells were cracks from the accident. As well the front right side fender where it attaches to the bumper was cracked straight thru. I did what i could for a first ever attempt.

Looks like an Atkins side draft intake for webers and friends. Cool!

What air cleaner/filter will you use? Looks there isn't much room for them there.

Looks like a good holiday project.

I've been working on a project as well but I'll just surprise you all at the meet with it.
