Might need to borrow a 500+ psi impact wrench from someone to try on that front 19mm eccentric shaft bolt off that 12A so I can break it down. I haven't had time to play with it yet but might find time soon.

 

Josh, not gonna make it up there tomorrow, will be there saturday morning though. I am pickin up an S5 NA motor, with something wrong. Guy thinks it may be a busted apex and whatnot. I will tear it down and see whats up with it, see if there will be any good parts.

 

Where do find all these gems Stu? Drop one my way one of these times 12A 13B S4, S5,..20B whatever you find laying around. I am going to try to make it Sunday. Hopefully I will have a customers car to drive there with. Going to get it tomorrow

I got the Streetport Pineapple Raceing 6 port templ;ates dropped off to me today!! Very cool piece. Dave has said that I can make copies of the template if I like. I plan on making a couple pieces first round to test them out. We'll see how it works out.

 

sorry sam the 6 port bridge isnt gonna fit in my plan this time around. you can do what you want with it. im not rich like you and cant afford to risk a 1500 dollar seal kit on a i wonder if it will hold together engine. not like anybodies gonna buy me a new seal kit if your idea doesnt work out. plus this cars my dd. so ima have to deal with a streetport and boost. darn.

I'm getting ready for the meet. Looks like great weather. Missed the last one and dropped out of the one before that.

Changing plugs, checking timing and washing the 7 for the meet.

I think it will be a great turnout now that everyone can get gas.

 

Stu we'll have to hold back those pics for now. While you grabbing parts, you know I will be needing a couple of S4/S5 housings. Josh, I understand where you coming from having to hold back for the sake of the daily driver. I don't have to worry about that. It's not about me having money to throw away. My ports WILL work. I think I proved my porting skills on the SA. It's not a debate on whether or not it's doable, it will be done. I will build it, then you guys can fight over the who wants the templates for the ports

 

On a different note. I decided that the muffler needed some tucking on the FB. The more I looked at it, the more I was hating it. So, "Break out the welder!" was called, and with some minor alterations I think I likes it alot! I added some "flame" protection as well

 

Soooo what are you going to put it in when its done?

 

Let's just say that the Fb might be getting a "thumper" upgrade over the winter

 

Still turbo though right? You do that your going to have to start breaking, errr, I mean upgrading trannys, diffs, axles, and brakes with all that hp.
