Well, after 2 days, the SA is busting off cold with no smoke or flooding. I hope that the intake gasket was the only problem. I don't have any more coolant smell in the exhaust either. I (supposidly) have a guy coming to look at it this Saturday. We'll see how this turns out..................
So Robbie. What you been up to lately? You still wanting to sell the 80 SA. Give me a buzz and we can talk about it........I had hoped that you would get a chance to check out the half-bridge before I sell it.
Man, if I could find room, I would to get an SA in the house. The only way I can get one is to get rid of the other half of the garage... and that is all my rotary stuff!
Andre i was in the white ranger that ran up beside you to see who was driving as you went under I40 on 21. I would have followed you but i had to meet my wife some where.
Sam, yeah been busy as crap. One of our programmers went on a 4000mile 2 1/2 week vacation on his BMW gs 1200 on the west coast. With him being gone work has been some long hours. Also been trying to get some of my old electrical nightmares fixed and connected right on my car. Amy is gone for 5 days as of next friday so i will have some time to do my stuff, i will give you a buzz this weekend if i dont work.

Thanks to Dave and Stu for making it down to the September OG@TA (even though I couldn't be there myself!)
And Dave, don't be too mad at OG@TA, after all it was the OG@TA gods that got you that warning instead of a three figure ticket!

I am not mad at OGTA. Nothin but love for you guys. That's why I drive 500 miles for a burger
Yeah I felt as though I must have acted mature(old guyish) and that;s why he let me off. I knew it had something to do with OGTA
I am working on figureing out a date for the OGTA comes to the mountains meet. I'll let everyone here and there know when I have updates

Andre was that you cleaning you car today, i was right behind the red FC that pulled in at the detailing place. I would have stopped in but i had to make it to Finish Masters to get some buffing compound and glaze. Maybe next time
lol thats funny, yeah that was me, the guy was trying to show me hows he get the yellowing of wheels. i thought I saw you back there. theres someone driving a blue vert in mooresville, i keep seeing him going the opposite way. that thing is CLEAN!!! anyway, rob give me a call later when your around. 7046586084

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I think a nice air dam on the front would be more functional considering how our cars get all floaty over 95 mph. Not that I would know
Now you'll need more stickers too.
Man, I'm sorry, it just keeps spilling out of my fingers tonite.
All kidding aside, it's bigger than I like, the one or three piece ones that were dealer installed options look better IMHO. On your car it looks good tho
Jeez Stu that fin makes the car look like a big pinch clamp. Just squeeze the rear bumper and fin together and the whole front end of the car opens up.
Maybe some "I'm not a bench clamp" stickers would help?

Don't listen to them Stu, Irt looks great IMO. I will swing by after work tomorrow with the rivet gun and some rivets if you like. We use them to hold the trim on Jet-skis.
Any FD guys have a used MOP pump laying around? I had a TPS out of spec and my MOP is not sending proper voltages to my ECU. I think that is causing my street port idle. I have ruled out just about everything else. Compression good on all faces, no vaccum leaks etc.. Still pulls great vacc but has a lope to it. We'll see what i can figure out tomorrow.
Insomnia crew represent!!

I just got off work a little while ago, and I am tired but not sleepy. I just hope these people who are wanting to come look at the SA this weekend aren't yanking my chain. I don't know if I like the whale tail Stu. On a widebody, not too bad.
