I77 & I40 Crossroads rotary meet
Well i was coming to the meet since i havnt been in forever so is it canceled?
i had way to much going on yesterday to pull away from. and witht he gas prices....... yeah that wouldnt be cool. oh yeah by the way im finnally going to part out me s4 parts car, anybody need any parts?
Rain checked till next week. I think in light of current events, it's kinda put a damper on things. Me personally, I could care less about all the hype of the "gas shortage". People don't get it. YOU are doing this to YOURSELVES. If everone hadn't filled up everything they own just to sit on it, it wouldn't be like this. But people are stupid, scared, and believe all the media before actually waiting and seeing what happens. Only we can stop this bullshit..............

hmmm, 6 port or 4 port? that might be the key. why does he have to have it gone by today? is it going to explode or something? i will see whats going on. is it garenteed good as far as housings go?
well Sam, me and Andre went and picked up an s4 engine today for my upcoming project. rotors were cleanable but rusted pretty good. 1 housing is usuable and the other is scarred up pretty good but the apex seals were all intact. all we could figure was the previous owner rebuilt the engine after eating some apex seals and used the same scarred up housing. but later this week me and andre will be going to pick up an s5 engine which is also locked up but way less miles, so hopefully itll be in decent shape to get my rotors out of it and the second housing. thanks to andre for the s4 engine. sam ill give you a yell this week and let ya know when we get that other engine. me and andre are ordering the 6 port street port templates friday if anyone else is interested.
I am intrested. I actually almost ordered them yesterday. Are you getting the exhaust template as well? I am working on eliminating the steel sleave's which make using the n/a housings a beatch!
I'll toss you some reacharounds for the use of the templates...or spray your hood if you ever get paint

Lol at reacharounds. I hear that the exhaust sleeves help keep the heat in the exhaust and not in the housing. Zac was saying you can actually weld some "custom" sleeves to a header that were larger than stock, and still retain heat.
Pop out the stock ones, slide the header in, and viola.

No experience on 13b portings, but 12a, if you port match to the insert, it is alright for a small bridge. Keyword being small. I will just pull mine out and get a bridgeport 12a Exhaust template for POWAHHHH
on that note me sam and josh had a ball getting bit by old skeeters yesterday it was fun...... lol so now i still have s4 parts I need to get rid of before we feed it to the crusher. i have a gauge cluster that has over 300,000 miles any takers? yeah i belive it has seen better days, the rear quarters took a nasty hit in its life so it aint worth fixing. there is also a complete s5 that is being parted out as well if anybody needs any parts give me a call and I will get a price for you. it has the entire front end drvers fender isnt good manual windows that work great, and a perfect dash board minus the warning suround and ash tray (thanks to josh's quick fingers) lol just pm me or call me at 7046586084

So I guess I didn't miss much since the meet was cancelled. I was out last week on vaca at the beach. Missed out on the whole gas shortage hype. We filled up coming home from Topsail with no real problems, price was up a bit but thats all.
I still have to crack that front nut off the eshaft so I can pull this 12A apart. Sam, I hope the FW socket helped you all out. I see it was picked up. Good thing I checked my PMs right before I left
I won't make the meet this Sunday either, got a picnic to go to.

i have the ****. ill see if i can get it to dave. we are getting the templates from mazdatrix, they have a nice set of templates for the 6 port that doesnt go rediculously overboard with the porting. but the intake templates are 52.00 and the exhaust is 32.00 i believe. we are gonna try and get it all ordered friday. im not really in a rush for them seeing as how i wont have the funding till february. but they will be nice to have layin around.

Can any of you welders make a manifold like this one. Please say yes!!!
This Dave guy sounds pretty sweet!! Seems to be in the middle of all the **** goin down
Dave is buying a variable speed porting tool with bits and stuff. It has a nice flexable hose and a foot pedal to control air speed/drill speed
140 bucks for the entire shootin match. Should have it in a couple more weeks.
That manifold looks like it chokes down the primary runners pretty bad. Could be the angle of the pic.
