AI will be installed for Road Atlanta in July...

 

Tires arrived today, now just need to have them mounted. Running out of time to have everything ready by Sunday...

 

If I can go Friday night it will be late. I have to work and also have a graduation party to go to. So it would be very tight if I can swing it. get those tires mounted. You can use Chamberlin tires on Blake Bottom if needed. What else you need to do? Since we have to leave out early Sunday bring everything by Saturday to load up as I know I will be hurting Sunday morning.....

they have been replaced almost by miatas! lol crap....

Got plans with the family tomorrow evening, so that leaves Friday. Me and Mike plan to hit the dragstrip Friday evening so you guys can meet up with us there and maybe we can hit Big Ed's afterwards.

 

yea man they all still run fine. the silver FB (just like yours) had a bad clutch.
so when we get around to it (after my brother wires the rx3) we will pull the OE 6port 13b and put in the atkins rebuilt 13b from the rx3, then take that OE 13b and put it in the 75 dollar FB (rallyx car) cause the 12a has a bad coolant seal and is smoking like a train lol and then we have an extra megasquirt for the silver fb.. and some coil overs.

Huntsville sucks along with any type import or street racing.. I guess its everywere. The economy is bad so cars are the first to get cut... Test and tune gets old......

used to be a decent amount but I have not heard much going on anymore. Maybe I am just too old...LOL... The track seems dead except for the regular bracket racers and a few events. I kick myself as this last weekend was a big event for 10.5 tires along with 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0 cars. What gets me is we used to have midnight madness that went from 11pm till whatever and there was a bunch of street cars showing up. Now Friday nights are mainly trailered cars with a few redneck's in trucks mixed in. It gos sooooo slow from cars not having to pass ANY tech. So the track gets leaked on left and right along with other silly ****. I am starting to get bored with my car.. LOL...

 

no joke... the track is getting to be a joke. You can go early and get a few runs in before the crowd hits... but then with the sun there are heat issues... and then after dark they let like 4 sets of cars go then they let the bikes run for 45 mins, then once the track is nice and cool they let 4 more sets of cars heat it up so the bikes can run again... gay

 

Will anyone be going to Barber this year? I'll be leaving later today, camping at the track all weekend long. Won't be in the 7, but will be pulling for the rotarys.

but yea guys its been pretty boring. at the local street races this past weekend was some pretty close matched cars. a blue procharged/cammed/ GTO vs an 03 cobra thats probly has similiar mods both making mid 500s in power... it was fun to watch.

but my brother FINALLY got off his *** and got the wiring in for the rx3, he is just trouble shooting megasquirt now to get a tach signal. we have scheduled dyno time next wednesday, but if its running by friday i wanna take it to the test and tune at the drag strip.
but the goal is to run at the redline time attack at the super speedway next weekend

 

I saw the GTO at DQ last time. Was wondering if it quick... Who's cobra ran him? Wish those cars would show up to the track... Mmmmmm gooood!
May have to go back to street racing and come play one night.

So on my car I put some stock springs and struts on the back side. Trying to get better 60 footers along with trying to keep the tires planted better. But I have to say its looks like a redneck camaro all jacked up! I was wanting to go tonight but have to work so I hope next week has nice weather!

 

Hey whats going on guys, Im revisiting the 7 scene!!! Just acquired a 87 Rx7 converted to turbo!!! Was wondering if you guys ever meet up or what not? Im in the madison area! Also does anyone know how easy it is to replace a clutch???
