I had an idea for you... If not too late why not go 20b NA instead of a 1jz..... That way atleast you are keeping the heart in it and 20bna is pretty damn reliable..... Just a thought..

But glad you sold the 13b as the tranny is tight. No grinds but damn the 5th gear is high. 68mph @ 3000rpm...

thats the problem. what ever place / shop that they removed the engine from, the cut off piece went with them. so it has to be fabed, or cut out.

Don, I will phone you around 1-2pm. Weather doesnt look good. I went ahead and put the wheels on but still need to put in plugs and swap fuel. Track opens at 5pm. If the weather holds I want to get there early before it gets busy....

had fun tonight. Didnt get that new best pass.... Kinda upset as I was hoping for a mid 6 or so. Not really sure whats going on but I couldnt go quicker than 7.0! Going to review the logs but the car felt fine. 60 footers were a tad slow along with mph. Droped from 106 to 103... but not enough to make any real diferance. I know that they reworked the lights but doubt thats it....

I'm actually thinking about the ET street radials. Softer tread compound and a little cheaper price.
