Hey guys, just got my car, working on updating it to 99+ spec. I'm located in Troy, AL, just a half hour South of Montgomery.

 

Cool. Post some pics of it!

 

Here's a couple pictures of before I bought it from the buyer, only noticable change is new door panels on the interior, and 99 tail lights, so basically, not real change lol.

 

Oh and the engine, duh -

 

looks clean. Any track times yet?

 

Not yet, everytime I try to go to the track since I got it, something happens.

First weekend, they closed for cold. This weekend is 'Turkey Trots' something or other NHRA drag. So, hopefully, next weekend. Supposedly these setups from Hinson and an LS2 run low 11s, but I'm doubtful I can get it down to that. I sure hope so though. My R/T is pretty good.

 

On motor only or w/spray? I would think a healthy LS2 on spray would be a 10 sec. car?
Dont worry about the R/T time as it has no effect on your et...

 

On motor only, supposedly low 11s. I don't actually use the spray, it's just rice at this point. Speaking of rice, I got my 10mm wider fenders in to fit the damn tires. <3

LOL, not anywhere around here you haven't. Mine really just needs a new paint job, but in order to do that I need to finish doing my S5 front end conversion (bumper, fenders, etc.)...then I can get her painted.

I know of several... Greys from B'ham has/had a sweet 10 AE, Dan from H'ville has a really nice FC, I've seen a immaculate FC (I think it's my ex-girlfriend's dad) around town as well and I'm sure there are others.

 

I know that in Tuscaloosa I am the only one. I have really set my car up for AutoX and I am running it in SM2. It's basically an ITS car minus the cage and a 5.12 rear gear.
