Autozone has them, but not sure how and if they are compatible with a rotary type engine. If you can't get one I would suggest getting a 1 1/2" x 36" x 1/8" flat steel bar from Lowe's or Home depot and using 2 adjacent pressure plate mounting holes on your flywheel (use your pressure plate for spacing to drill the holes in the bar) attach the bar and allow it to brace on the ground while removing the flywheel nut.

i actually have a stopper for a Turbo flywheel, but i dont think it'll work on a NA. if you have the engine still in the car you can try to crank the engine with a socket and a breaker bar braced to the side of your trans tunnel to get it off... but the starter mounts on the trans... nvm... i had to get my engine in the back of my truck and take it to Static X to get that nut off. 1in impact guns can take anything off. thats goen to be a sweet 3 once its done Mike.

i just tore down a junkyard 13bt and cleaned it and put it back together with stuck seals as practice of course
i used just a 1/2in impact, and of course you gotta get a big hammer on the taper of the flywheel.

i went up to rotary resurection and he tore the motor from the rx3 down right infront of me and went through the good and bad in 20 mins! lol he used just a craftsman impact too.

Mike, I dont have that sand blaster anymore. It sucked because it wouldnt blast shells or soda just real fine sand. I will check and see who else might have one.

Soda is not abrasive so no pits like sand leaves and you dont have the sand falling out from spots on the car 5 years later.. However I have given up on finding anyone close to do it. I am just going to sand blast it the best I can and then treat-prime the entire car under-inside- everything. Then have the rear cage/ 4link welded how I want it.

Its going to be a huge project but I am looking foward to it.

Got the clutch/tranny/PPF installed, but looking at the weather, Sunday might not happen
Call me later, I want to break-in the clutch today even if no track Sunday.... and test the AI injection.

Yeah, drove it last night but I've got a leak from the gaskets on the extension housing. I don't think they will appreciate me dripping gear oil on the track, so I will have to replace them before I hit it. I tried to call you last night while I was out test-driving.

Nope, it's a steady drip from both gaskets. Probably leaked all the oil from the shifter housing. Was getting on the midpipe and smoking a bit.
