Where do you guys meet at? I am asking as I am huntsville born and raised

I visit about 3-4 times a year for grandfolk who still live in the town. Aunt & Uncle own a side of a mountain, and both grandmothers live off governors' drive.

Don't really have a meeting spot other than Big Ed's Pizza on occasion. We usually just give a week or so advance notice and pick a place to meet. It would be cool to meet up once a month or so for lunch/dinner.

at idle yes. I do not think there is any way to get the 1680's to idle with out being so rich. I was thinking earlier, stock 550 x2=1100cc. 1680 x2=3360cc. Thtas triple the size at idle.

But I still have other issues. I drove it tonight to get grocery's and it has some break up at mid-high rpms. I am going to go over the complete ignition system..

So are you going back to 1000 primary and just add the 1600 somewhere along the intake stream?

Might be time to ditch the TwinPower for a multiple MSD ignition amp setup...

I dunno.. I mean there are many that have went well beyond where I am on just oem coil's and an HKS. I need to find the real source before I make anymore changes. I am going to put the 1000's back in and go over the wiring from injectors to the complete ignition system. I just feel there is something else going on.

I got another computer for car use only. (this one will be safe from the kids) Anyone have excel I can borrow to load on?

Purchased a r33 gtr motor set today. I told myself I cannot play with it until my rx7 runs. Maybe this will help my motivation. Motor has 25,000 km on it with a greddy front mount. I don't even have a chassis for it (RX???) just kidding.

We really have sucked at the local get togethers as we are getting older, kids and family seem to be taken over. Then there are the few regulars that are still around and from time to time a new owner pops up only to sell it soon.

You back in town? Or in NC? I think we have meet a few times before? Your brother has the vet and one of you buddy's ( the Sunday's)?

I'm thinking about scheduling some dyno time next week. I've talked to a few people and they recommend Trackmasters.

Give me a heads up a day or so before hand if you need some help. I MAY-just Maybe ready but I bet it will be the following week. Did you go over the timing maps and clean them up?

Trackmasters is good, Static has a nicer machine that will allow you to put load on the car which is important for tuning. Otherwise you are just free spining the drum. It is usally best if tuning on trackmasters to tune a tad rich due to this. I think Art (trackmasters) can log boost were before he was not. I will say that the fan set up Static has keep my car very cool between runs.. Your call..I have used both..

oh, just so you know if the numbers are what you are worried about (like myself) you can have the dyno dynamics read out the same as trackmasters dynojet. there conversion is pretty dead on as I was on the dynojet a week before and it read about the same using the conversion. Only reason I went to Static x was Arthur could not read my torque which upset me. Not to mention he gave my slot away to henson and I had to wait about 2-3 hours to finally get on..

Don let me know when you want dyno time. Jeff at static hooks me up. I can get it all day for a god price. Also Lane out at hinson just got a dyno with an eddy current brake setup and put it across the river at slims. Lane would probably hook me up. You need a good break dyno to tune on. The dynojet is for peak numbers only. Art has a 2600lb roller and there is no way your turbos will load or spool like they do on the street with full weight. Your maps would be way off. Let me know.

Thanks Dustin. I was thinking one day next week sometime after 3 pm. If you want to do an all day dyno, I can do it on any Friday in October and November.

I just want to get numbers for improvements I make. Made 267 at first with no tuning so now I want to see what I make with the increase in boost and changes we made.

I told myself I cannot touch the rb26 until I finish my rx7 and my 240sx. Hopefully I can have the 7 running so we can tune together. I think I can get the dyno for $400 for the day from jeff with notice. Let me know and we can all get together and go. I need to finish her asap. I miss my rotary........

Dustin, You get my PM? I want to get you those clamps asap.

Put the 1000 cc's back in and it runs so much better now. I will leave the bigger ones alone until I have a real tuner make it right..

I got your pm mike. I did buy that wheel already. Sorry. I will order the clamps and let you know. The large injectors are a pita to control at low flow rates. I still think lane would cut me a hell of a deal to tune on his dyno. He has an eddy current brake that is not as efficient as statix's though. I am going to work on getting my 7 done by speed for sale. I would like to tune it on the dyno with you guys id I can get caught up. I desperately need to get the dust off of her and hear her fire up again.
