Well I just spent the last 2 hours trying to get the promary rail not to leak.... No luck. I may just buy another. This one seems to sit at a slight angle causing the inj. not to sit straight, kinda makes them angle some. Pisses me off as I remember having this problem the last go around.. I also have to find way my rear rotor is not firing. Has compression but the plugs show no signs of combustion. Not sure if the leak could be the cause. I am pretty sure they are getting fire..?? I would have rather spent 2 more weeks on a rebuild rather than this trouble shooting bullshit..

Is that fuel rail new or did you buy it used from someone? I have a spark tester if you need to borrow that too.

where in jesus's name did you find a 0mile motor?

I Thought i saw your car saturday when i was picking up another megasquirt (this one is for my little brother's bimmer) but it was some white dude driving so I kept on cruising. I'm loading myself down with projects now, i've got to finish building the megasquirt for my little brother's car and tune it, build a megasquirt for my miata, tune that, build the intake manifold for the ITBs on my miata, tune that, Help a local guy get his FD back together, Change around the megasquirt on the RX-3 to control ignition, get, install, wire, and tune a haltech on the new ITA miata racecar when the head comes back from R&R, and work on the formula car for the school...

Can you tell I broke up with my girlfriend and I'm trying to keep myself busy for a while

From Malloy Mazda. According to Ray, I've got the last NEW engine that was imported into the states... or at least the last one he had.

Well, got it fired back up today and it is running fine. I think the inj.'s are leak free also. Idle seems good, still smoking a bit but not sure if its all the crap still burning off or the huge 1680 primary injectors. I hope to drive it to work Friday and maybe by next week start the tune. Here is a bad video.

So what was the issue? Did you install the new rail?

No, I just changed up how the rail was installed. I have not recieved the new one yet. I am burning a little oil still. Way less than before, may be the ton of premix I put in. I was guessing how much fuel was in the car. I still have some ignition issue, could be fouled plugs or maybe a short in a wire.. Dunno... Have to play around with it and get these inj. set up and smooth everything out. Very rough idle...

Are you doing any test-driving this weekend/Saturday? I may try to get out late Saturday night to make some boost adjustments. I still need to get a 3 bar map sensor to go above 17psi.

Dustin is going to have nothing left after we use up all his stuff! Oh, I need that wheel unless you want to powder coat them black??

Don, It will be late, like after the kids go to bed. Is that cool?

Jeezus, I think there is still a big crowd at the DQ meet. I do not think many rotary guys show up. Myself and Don wen a few years back. Maybe we will get something lined up as its been a long time since both my car and Dons ran at the same time...

Thanks Dustin, but I will probably just keep the boost below 17 till I can get a premanent one to install. I'm thinking about getting the Apexi p-n-p sensor.
