Don, that seems like good power to me. I don't really understand the dip in the curve at 4,500 but overall it looks like a good graph.

Mike, I would love to pick up a Viper. Currently I've got too much and I'm trying to sell a few things. I'm keeping th Charger but I'm gonna sell the Cobra, my 66 Mustang and my Jeep because I'm either about to buy a new house or build since I got another baby on the way. So I'll be shopping for another vehicle but I don't think a two-seater is the way I can go right now. Honestly, I'll probably try and pick up a SRT8 or a SRT8 Super Bee.

The dip is the transition of the turbos. It's what most seq turbo FD's show.

Ok cool, didn't know that. I never had my FD on a dyno but then again I was non-seq.

What about the new challenger? They look pretty sweet!
I am just kicking the idea around about the viper. I really dont need it and that is the reason I am selling the porsche. Just to simplify things. A boat, camper would be nice family fun... I also am eyeing a rx3 to build for the track. I found one already with the cage, 9 inch, 4 link installed. Just needs a motor and body-paint work. I may pick it up as a future project.. congrats on the expected baby!

Love the new Challenger! But apparently so do the Dodge Dealerships...$53,000 to $60,000 are the prices I've seen. That's just crazy! Our local Dodge dealer was allowed to get 2 and sold one for $53,000 and the other for $55,000. How that happened, I don't know...they are identical cars! I wouldn't pay that much over MSRP. You can get a 2001-2002 GTS Viper in the mid 40's.

Anyway, when prices fall on the Challenger like they have the Charger SRT8, I may pick up one. But for right now for me to haul 3 kids in I'll probably go with like a 07 Charger SRT8...425hp four-door sounds fine by me, especially for $30k.

Did a lady in her early 30's approach you at a bank and tell you about Rx-8 meetings and events?

Well, you should really look into RX-8 club activities. The local 7 community has been pretty dead lately, so if you really want to take part in some fun activities, you should make plans to attend an RX-8 gathering. There are a few 7 members, so you wouldn't be the odd-ball.

LOL.. everytime one of us is up and running we are ready to be active but seems the rest are broke! The cycle of turbo rotaries...lol

Xtravagant, let me know asap if you are serious about going w/a single setup as I am geting ready to add 4 inch dp to CB. SO I will have a nice A-spec 3 inch DP as well as mid pipe w/ magnaflow welded in and a JIC Ti cat back up for sale. I will most likely sell the T4 manifold and turbo if I have a serious buyer. Just not sure how this would work on a right hand drive.

rx8s are slow.

hsvracing crew are fun people to hang out with.

once you go single turbo you should take on one of those 605 hp supras.

they are beasts! they both are automatic and the silver one runs 6.5 in the 1/8!

lol this saturday night a mustang came out of scottsboro with a band of rednecks... the mustang was a ground pounder with nitrous..... it never came close to winning a race.

So who is the other 600rwhp supra? Kyle=silver 600hp. Gary= white (?1000rwhp) . are you talking about the sound on wheels car?. I watched that one run at the track and I think it was running high 7's or so. Cant imagine it is making 600rwhp, but you never know. Crazy how both could run so differant if we are talking about the 2 same ones..

Really? I tell you they are a drag monster! The powertrain is bullet proof. Rear end is bullet proof as well. I would never want one for a DD personally but I thought about buying one for a drag car.
