I've actually thought about trying to clear my schedule to make the drive. I'll see what I can do.

Brad, you planning on coming to the track again? I hope to have the new tranny and clutch kit it soon then 500 break in miles. I also think I may just go ahead and get the et streets as I am afraid the DR's are to harsh on the driveline were the ET's absorb the wheels hop and such. Anyway I know I will be out there soon as I have a goal to hit.

 

Mike, I might head that way. I don't know what my wife has got going on yet for this weekend but if I'm free I'll head over there.

I know what you mean. My 2 year old boy threw up for 7 straight days last week right at 3a.m. every morning. Wasn't sick at any other time but at 3a.m. it was GO TIME! Now my oldest boy has an ear infection in both ears, chest congestion and running a 101 degree fever. This winter has been awful for sickness. I've been sick 3 times since November.

 

New wheels and tires: FR500s 18x9 up front and 18x10 on rear, Sumitomo 265/35 on front and 285/35 on rear.

I went to drive the P car today and the battery was dead. I was ok, I will drive the 7 its nice out... Battery also dead!! WTF..... All this money sitting in the gargae and niether working.. My kids get in them and turn on lights and such then I find out the hard way a week later!

 

ugh... I dragged my feet too long and lost out on the $375 shipped tranny! So now I need another.. I am ready to pull mine and add the new clutch-flywheel.

 

So I guess you have to get up at all hours to tend to the baby... I bet your wife is happy about that temporary arrangement.

 

NAh, she actually is still taking on all that. I do not have the correct tools to feed her!!

 

Wally, if you still looking in May let me know. on 50 miles north of the TN/AL line but right now am swamped with work, trying to get the 7 ready for deals gap and two other 7's here needing rebuilds.


Congrats Don, glad the little one is well. I too had that crap and it is no fun. It had me in bed for 4.5 days.

Everyone is fine now they are over the flu... How are the cars coming? Anymore completed on the silver one? I am getting ready to do a tranny/clutch/flywheel job. Next doing a meth kit. I gotta do the meth as I think how far they have come with the kits its a no brainer for safe high boost.

We need to have a local meet and all hit the track one night after dinner!

Yes I have. I have almost everything reassembled. I received the A/C compressor yesterday, so as soon as it stops raining, I will be back on it and complete the engine bay... unless you would like to come over and hold the umbrella so I can get some work done now.

 

has not been raining in about 1-2 hours now. You should almost be done!

 

Had to tend to the baby while Denise showered and got dressed. I did manage to sneak in 45 minutes while they were gone to the store.

 

2am... just got the car of the jack stands. Clutch went in very easy.

SO who's going to the gap? Whats the plan? I am not sure I will follow everyone up as my FD could overheat trying to keep up with you speeders!!!

 

The TVRX8 bunch plans to meet up and caravan again like last year. I was hoping the HSV-RX-7 bunch would meet up with us. I'm taking my FD and don't plan to overdo it.

BTW, a few of the TVRX8 guys are coming to my house for car washing this afternoon, and to see my JC Cosmo that just arrived yesterday. You guys have my number if you want to come by.
