I've been busy George, tons of homework, lots of Philly Deli work, and gotta sleep and spend some time with Veronica, so the forum goes on the back burner, unfortunately. Going up to Kitty Hawk next week for Spring break, hopefully hang out with Tony one night, do some surfing and golfing. I'm going to miss my POS car though. It's runnin so crappy, it's still so fun to drive. I'm getting AWESOME at launching, and saving the clutch. Can't wait to have my HorsePower back. Got my butt whooped by an all motor EG civic hb this evening (back behind your house Dan) This dude kept revvin at me at school today, so I revved back at him, did a burnout, and left. I was comin home this evening from goofing off, and turned into Dan's neighborhood to hit the 'drag strip' once and the dude from school (crappy teal civic hatch) and some white civic hb turn in behind me. I recognized the teal one(slow pos from school) and look at the white one, and it's even more of a piece. Dude in the white one asks if I want to run. I wasnt sure, there were still people at work in all the buildings back there. He said his engine was stock (had some loud muffler) and it looked ragged, so I agree. Line up, he says on 3, counts, I launch (perfect launch) pulled a length and a half outta the gate. He passes me in mid second, and just keeps going, I shut down at 80 in mid- third, he was gone. I wanted to cry, first honda thats ever beat me. At least he was cool about it, and seemed to know how to build cars. It was a J-spec d16 sohc, full custom welded exhaust and intake, high rise cam....and NO interior, just dash, two seats, and steering wheel and pedals. Car prlly weighed 1600 lbs, and like 140 hp. Fastest honda I've ever seen. Turns out he's heard stories about me and wanted to run me, he told me to fix the problems with teh car and come back and blow his doors off. Turns out he was the dude in the teal civic's older brother, nice dude. I went back to there house (they live in Northchase too) and he's building an old Nova with a built 350 in it. Fast Honda, I'm still impressed. I definetly want my rebuild.

Not very many differences, mostly cosmetic. This is a S5, so on the left rear taillight assembly, instead of a reverse light, there is a red-lensed fog light. The bumper covers are the same, I think, but the reinforcements are not as heavy. On the interior, the seatbelts are not the mouse-type, but regular. There are seats in the rear (with shoulder belts), instead of storage bins (TII, remember), which is pretty much standard for non-US market 7's. And, if course, the speedo reads exclusively in kph.

Yeah, they won't let anyone go on leave if we go to war, and with that uncertainty, and the fact that Hanna couldn't get a refundable ticket, I decided it would be best to just wait until I check out of here in June.

Well guys as of right now I am still undecided as to selling the car or not. I really don't want to get rid of it. But I don't have the time and $$$ to work on it right now. If I do sell it I will either buy a nice set of rims and tires for my truck, or buy a older CRX.

Anyway, so how has everyone been doing? I am still working my 2 jobs, and I'm back to school, trying to get my EMS degree.

Chris, don't forget to call me when you get in, I'll be working on Saturday and Sunday,Tuesday, and Friday next week.
