Man, we need some new blood in here. It's like the same four people posting all the time. OK, 5 if you count Tony, who does at least visit every now and then. And Kristin makes 6, but she's not that regular either.
Anyone know what happened to Stephen (dubcaps)? He hasn't posted in quite a while.

Well I originally wanted to participate in a eastern nc meet so I started watching this thread. I check back from time to time to see if you guys are going to pull it off. I understand the logic behind posting on one thread but start a new one called "Alot about nothing" or "Nunya Damn Biznis" or "If your having trouble sleeping..." or "For the enc crew" etc.
Oh and I was trying to get to 100 posts so I could use a custom avatar....
Oh and I wanted to stir you guys up....
I am in greenville, nc. Start a new thread if you are actually going to try and meet as I will probably not be checking this one anymore.

ok ladies, i may have bit off mroe than i can chew thsi time.
i agreed to work on a guys freightliner sleeper 18 wheeler.
he is a logn haul trucker, but when he gets to his destinations he often has a 3 or so day waiting period and he is stuck witht he diesel as his only transpoirtation. and as we all know fuel isn;t cheap these days.
so me and him were talking the other day about what he could do about it. i mentions finding a way to get a moped or motorcycle in his truck. and he liked the idea. well, he has now bout one of those street legal dirt bike type things to take with him.
now comes my part, he is paying me to take the sleeper compartment and convert it to an externally accesible container for his bike.
plans so far are to remove all of the internals of the sleeper compartment down to the bare metal to see what i have to work with. then make some sort of wall to split it from teh cab of the truck. then i am going to take the existing external door and hinge it down rather than out and put extending ramp on it so that the bike can be loaded that way. then put an electric wich in the compartment to pull the bike up. and run theswitches for the winch tot he outside of the truck and to the inside of the cab. and i will also have a small window ofcourse to make the rear view mirror still accessible.
what does everyone think?
