I have just purchases my 3rd Gen about 3 months ago and would love to get to meet everyone. I think this is a great idea and if anyone lives around the Mount Airy, Winston-Salem area, I would enjoy getting to meet you so I could discuss our cars. I'm new to this car like I said and am already learning that they are a bitch to work on but well worth the effort.

Hows it going. If you know how to get down to Hickory NC we are having a huge gathering this Sat night at the Fuddruckers on Hwy 70. Supposed to be about 60 cars or so showing. I have a thread posted up in this section with all the details. Its open to everyone so bring some buddies if you want. Hope you can make it out.

 

Actually Tony, I stayed home. I chose to work all week and make money while I'm on spring break. My family might come by to look at the firetrucks (Chad, the lil one, loves them) and Joel wanted to say hey to you. I've been workin my butt off this week so that I can save up for an engien rebuild. I'm shootin for 40 hours this week. Take it easy fellas. -Chris

 

Yeah Chris they all came by yesterday and looked at the engines. And I took a pic of them in front of one of them. Your mom wants me to harass you about staying home. But I won't.

 

Thanks, I'll catch enough harassment when they get back, and I already got some from my girlfriends mom, so I think I'm harassed out. I've already got 22 hours in this week, and scheduled for about 15 to 16 more, so I'mma have a nice check next friday Off to my 6th shift of the week. take it easy fellas.

btw, does anyone know of a rotor shop in hamstead. when we werr comin back home we passed a place with like 6 rexs in front of it. 2 fbs, and 4 fcs(one a tII,the first one I've ever seen). one of the fb's were hottt. it was electric blue and had a 17' 5 spoke rims

 

Yeah Kitty Hawk Pizza is pretty good, to bad they are closing at the end of this month, they got bought out by some Japanese Sushi Bar. I have looked for George's car before when I go through Roper and have never seen it. And I have never seen the place in Hampstead either.

 

the place in hampstead is next to a transmission shop. its on tha right if u r comin 2 wil. but it's easier to see goin from wil. it's really small too.

naaa man, i live on a road off of the main road. besides, ya won;t see me in roper. i live in that "town" but only cuz i am in the city limits. i spend mroe time in plumouth. you prolly wnedt thru that town too.

 

oh. Roper is really small . maybe you can come down here sometime though.

 

Found out whos cars those are in Hampstead...dude named Scott at German Speed Merchants on market st. He has the complete set of exhaust to match my RB header, he's going to sell me from the flange on the back of the header to the mufflers (no cats, of course, all true dual) Only problem will be finding someone to inspect an illegal car Wouldnt happen to know anyone, would you Dan? Speaking of Dan, do you have the ReX back yet? I havent been over your direction to look lately. Well, keep them rotors spinnin' fellas. -Chris

he prrly wont get the rebuild til summer, and get the xhaust now, but i dont know for sure.

 

Yeah his luck he drops a bunch of $$$$ on exhaust and a week later looses compression.

 

oh yeah, me and chris dropped about 40 pounds on his car. we took tha carpet out, and threw away the crap under(the sound blocking crap) the carpet, and then we took the storage box out, and put tha carpet bac down. then we took out the spare tire(20-25 pounds ) and the ghetto jack. then we found the wrench thang that ya take the tires off with, and it didnt even fit the bolts on tha rims ,LOL. so we had fun.

Where'd EVERYBODY go? How're all you guys doin? how's the cars? George hows the new truck treatin ya? I want to hear details about this thing, all I know is its a 493 hp'd lightning with a torque problem lol. What color is it? Dan, got the ReX back yet? I've swung by your house a few times and havent seen it so I'm not sure. I saw a silver FD on college road the other day, it looked stock, but it was clean. Tony, any electrical problems fixed yet? I'm getting my alternator done next week, hopefully. Then I'll be on the road to finishing Stage 1.
