Well here's the deal... my woman is gonna be here the weekend after July 4th, so anytime after that is good for me. I figured the weekend after that would be good and wouldn't interfere with people's July 4th plans and stuff. So how's about a meet on Saturday, July 14th?

I R teh interested....and Kanuck I know where a motor and tranny are sitting for 400....car is in the boneyard, but it was driven there with an ignition problem, but supposedly the motor and trans are good.
Im not sure if he is or not, but id say they would charge more to split em since they gotta lift the car off the ground to get it all out....I ganked the wheels and radiator off it last so its just sitting on the dirt now. If you have a phonebook for the morristown area call Jack Green's...should be in teh used parts section i think
Derrick you mean to tell me they too kthat car to the junkyard becuase of an ignition problem!? I would have fixed that or sold it before taking to a junkyard. Must have gotten a good deal on it.
Yes, that car was drivin in, drove to the back and parked all with it running. THe problem as i understood it, was that the key needed to be held in the START position for it to stay running... but once the car was parked they cut all the fuel lines and severed the wires to the fuel pump...
ok...karma's come to bite me in the *** yet again.
As of today the NA now needs a 'new' motor. Front rotor decided it no longer liked its apex seals and threw them out the header.

That really sucks Derrick, how many miles were on that motor? Hopefully it didn't do any damage to the housings or rotors. You gonna pull it apart or just try to get another motor?
I've been having problems of my own with the Cheeto... it doesn't want to exceed 40mph. I can floor it in first and most of second and it'll pull strong until around 40 and then it cuts out and runs like crap. I'm gonna replace the fuel filter and see if that helps.

lessee...body has about 181k on it, motor was out of another car so im guesstimating it at 200K+ with the last 20k hard driving by me. And that doesnt bode well for teh cheeto either >.> compression test it man

Compression should be fine, it pulls hard as ever until 40mph and no smoke. It's a fuel delivery issue... if the filter doesn't clear it up then chances are I'll be rebuilding the Nikki carb.

It must be mating season for FC's, here's what I spotted today, all out in West Knoxville/Karns...
1. Champagne S4 Coupe - taillights painted to match. Sounded good too!
2. Black 88 Vert - didn't get a good look but nice wheels I think
3. What was left of an 87 TII - Sitting in a driveway with no motor, tranny, fenders, bumpers... what did they dooo!?
4. Red S4 Base Model - Looked like it was in good shape, just a little lonely out there in the street.
Really strange to just happen upon so many FC's in one day. I really need to print out some flyers.

I hope to meet everyone at our event. It will be the largest and best import car meet in the country.
