It was changed at 103,500. It takes 5 quarts. What I do is buy the 5 quart jugs from Walmart like the one that was in the car. Down here they run about 23 bucks, which apparently is a steal compared to wherever you bought yours! Now here's a tip. If you put oil in it, make sure you fill it all the way up (full mark on the dipstick, not overflowing the filler neck, obviously.) If it runs low, it will actually burn oil a lot faster and you'll have to keep adding it. So after you add oil, let it sit for 10-15 minutes then do the normal check/wipe/check again procedure and add more if needed.

Oh yeah, been meaning to ask you... where/how can I get another one of those electric door lockers for the Subaru? I'm afraid the one I've got is going to fall out of my pocket and then I'm stuck like Chuck. It would also be nice to have a spare since the battery already died in this one. Any idea how much these cost and where I can get one?

Oh.... well.... great. I should probably just have a key made for those doors. It's a Black Widow keyless entry, so definitely aftermarket. I guess I'll do some googling.

Nice find on the door panels. I considered doing that myself, but I figured I'd get the power windows fixed eventually and it would be a shame to switch to manual. But hey, it's your car. It's better than non-working windows.

Ahh, the TII is lookin' good. Nice Mazdas. What's the story on the Protege? I know the Speeds didn't come in black... is it swapped or anything?

well, they're going to be expensive to fix, when i can just get manual windows and never have to worry about the power being crazy and messing up again, besides its lighter.

Weight reduction! Now you're speaking my language. With some lighter wheels that car would be lighter than any stock N/A. It's almost junk free. A carbon fiber hood and sunroof, as well as a lexan hatch would probably put it into the GSL-SE range.

see? there, win. manual windows ftw.

im probably just gonna do basic maintainence, oil change, clean up the paint, have it buffed and waxed, try to fix all the minor problems, and then either sell it to you or put it up on the forums....

buy her back Jimi! do it!

Heh, look at this guy, trying to snake buyers around me like that.

Sounds like the first thing you need to do is go ahead and replace the master cylinder. I'm thinking there's a problem with the top end of it, the part you can't rebuild. If the fluid level isn't dropping and you're still losing pressure then it's blowing by the seals in there. So I'd look into replacing that... I don't think we remembered to put that spare one I pulled out of the parts car in there, did we? If that doesn't fix it, then check the slave. It was just rebuilt. There's one bolt stripped on it so it's a little loose but that shouldn't be affecting operation.

Yeah, umm... was that cop high or something? He wrote "October 10th" as my court date, when the citation was issued on the 12th. And he had December written and crossed out for the current month. Maybe December 12th was supposed to be the court date? It's a small fine but maybe I can get that **** overturned anyway on account of the cop being retarded.

Ok so...two orders of business.

First order: My BBS vert wheels with 205/50 ZR15 Hoosiers are going to be up for sale (not nescessarily known to the whole forum yet) and the price to you local guys is 400 OBO with centercaps with me delivering them to YOU (personal delivery does not include memebers of this forum whom are over a 100 miles away from knoxville.)

Second order: I have a line on a S4 GXL in a blue color. I have no reall idea its full condition yet but im getting it cheap enough to literally part out if it turns to be ****, front hubs and rear calipers are spoken for and if the block is toast then the rest of the driveline may also be spoken for (unknown yet at this time but im fairly certain).

That is all and good day to y'all rotards.
