haha not spare tire, tell you what, ill put about 600 extra punds in my dodge. then we'll go. and um yea i got the day off tommorow, yay. so i plan on bein up for a while. tryin to get down on come call of duy4 for online. next to mazdas, the xbox is the ****.
lol well i guess that works too, i took what seems like a year off...went nearly fully broke and back to work i go. put in paperwork tomorrow, and start back monday assumably. Then I can get back to saving funds up for the small things...like body work, and proper gauges and pods, aka the CF dash bubble over the stock gauge cluster and a CF radio surround blank.
**** im workin 57 hours a week at freakin arbys, **** job but oh well. i was planning on saving up to get a TII but my girl just told me a few weeks ago that shes prego. so there goes my chances at buyin a new rx.
damn man it really does suck in fast food. my first night there we had to stay till 3:30 in the morning cause 3 people quit that day. then tonight it was about 2 cause another girl quit at midnight. so if the baby was on the way then id have plenty of money for a new rx.
come on guys help me pick
a..buy s5 t2 block with 10k miles and its streetported
or
b..build a bridgeported s4 t2 block brand new with oil system mods, race bearings, hardened stat gears, and a sleu of other mods.
both motors cost the same and im only wanting about 350hp with a t-61 and a vmount.and motor b is well way overkill but.......i plan to dd this as well and im thinking the bp motor will kill me in gas

Well..depends. Will you be driving this somewhat daily? Or track queen only?
Its always best to overkill a build incase plans change for MORE power. That way the mods are in place and you just up the fuel flow and boost to be set.
And A-cups: RX7>children.
Its better, in my opinion, to get the car first and then wait for a kid, just see if she wants to abort man...id not let kids ruin good car crafting years. You get a kid and it becomes 18 years of catering to an ungrateful parasite that sucks you dry of energy and money for things YOU could be doing.

yeah i want b motor. but is bp and gas will kill me and i only want 350hp or so which a stock motor could do.
also motor a will give me better response on the street
man i hate it i activated my gi bill and i got 5k now that i can trow at my 7ven and i cnat make up my mind

Well if you only want 350 then go with option A, BP's are nasty for driving around town, and generally 5 notches past loud, but will pass everything but the nearest gas station. 350hp sounds like a decent SP with a proper turbo and FMIC or VMIC. And yes, after consulting other individuals a thermostat is required in a rotary for one simple reason: The pumps flow so much that the coolant doesnt have time to do its job at all if left unrestricted. The coolant flows rapidly through the block and right back to the radiator, sure temps seem low, but the engine itself is too hot.
well yea im probly gonna end up buying a new one before she comes anyway, just so id have something that i can work on thru out her life, then maybe, MAYBE she'll drive it when she gets old enough....maybe. depends on how nice i make it before shes 16 or 17.
but if you got 5 G's to spend, how much is motor a? assuming its pretty much stock cept for the street port. will you have enough money left over afterwards to buy upgrades? or will it be cheaper to build motor b, assuming your doing the work. no labor costs. and know that youll have more power then a.

yeah it took like 6 people to explain and convince me of that.
and yeah all i really want is 350hp thats really more then enough for the street and anything i want to do with the car.
i would love to ahve a 600hp car but i also enjoy driving my car to the fullest not working on it all the time because that 600hp just blew another seal

motor a costs 1200$ minus turbo and intercooler and standalone
motor b costs about the same 1200$ to build brand new and i can do all the labor myself it would be the 5th motor i built although the last one well lets jsut say its no longer running.
motor b would make alittle more power. but nothing major. it would jsut have the capabilities to produce basically any hp i would want though. it all depends on what i tune it to do. and it also uses a **** load of gas were talking 10mpg and loses some bottom end
motor a has a mild street port and will be better on the street and still at 350hp wont be maxed out on hp potential and really wont get any less mpg then the stock motor.
THIS CAR IS GONNA BE MY DD

haha yeah, a 500+hp rotary becomes a high maintanence beast that sits in the garage more than being on the streets. But sounds to me option a is the way to go as far as reliability and such.
After I get my body work and crap out of the way im going to hopefully be on the lookout for a good condition starion to tinker with. That way I have my track ****/dd FC and the turbo beast to make the talon/eclipse boys go crying to mommy.

well then i guess a would probly be better with that cost and preformance. but if its a daily then i say leave it stock. gas is gonna be too high to to have any upgrades on your car. just me tho. any bit of money helps.
