Welp, universal fuel pumps = SUCK. I had the Cheeto running up on stands for a bit today but not only was the pump not pushing enough pressure but it was leaking from the side! I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
So does anyone on here have a stock or aftermarket fuel pump for a 12a they wanna sell me?

y'know...oddball question. Would a loose/faulty fuel line clamp, which allows excessive fuel spurting, cause stuttering on a t2? ballpark guess it cuz...im gonna try and make the t2 drivable again, which means another set of wheels i have to find...

Yeah, I'd think it would due to the loss of pressure. Also might cause the car to explode. What are your plans for the TII? Swap to another chassis?

Okay that works... mine is an 85 GSL. The SE pump is an in-tank pump and won't work but I should be able to tell from the pic.
You're making me very sad selling it Clint. Like I said, you should wait another 2 years
Im not sure on what im gonna do with the t2 right now... though I will take cash offers on the entire thing to get it away from me, its pretty much a solid drivetrain with 20k miles on the landers streetport.
Just to let ya know, the GSL-SE pumps are external. I know because I own one. If you get the GSL-SE pump, the pressure should be way too high for a carb. Hope this helps.

I'll be damned, you're right... and they look identical in the FSM to the 12a pump so that could be a problem. And yeah, the pressure would be way too high. Know any way to tell the difference between the two by looking at them? Thanks for the heads up.

Oh okay. I put my stock pump back under the car just to plug up the lines and such so I can't look to see if there's a part # on it. Hopefully Kanuk's will have one.
