need tech tips? ask here! :)
ok i got a 88 tii and i just put a new clutch in it changed over the rubber line to a ss line and now i cant get the clutch pedal to build pressure back up and ive replaced everything clutch master cyl., slave cyl., new clutch kit, i even tried to put in a longer bolt in the slave cylinder and still nothing im so frustrated with this if i cant get it pretty soon im going to light the car on fire and have a bon fire with it
Robert do you sell a carb.,intake and exhaust manifold, turbo, all for racing application for a 20-B engine, flywheel(which year rx-7 works), what is the engines tightening torque in foot pounds(its the same as a 13-b?), is there a special way to disassemble the crankshaft cause I have been told that this engines crankshafts comes in two parts and require a special method of disassembling, and last but not least you once told me to installed a large engine breather for my 13-B at least one inch I.D. but I dont exactly know what an engine breather is, sorry for this big questionary,
THANKS
THANKS

the breather is usally incorperated into the oil filler neck . it consists of a 1" dia tube routed to a catch can ..

here is a trick i do..
open the bleed valve, then with an air nozzle blow compressed air through the small vent hole in the top of the master cy.. use about 10 psi , ithis will push the brake fluid through the system pushing the air out of the system.. do this slowly and do not let the resivoir empty as you will put more air into the system..

the next step for you would be a race fuel injection system like the one i use on my car.. when i switched to efi, i was able to accuratly tune the fuel at higher boost levels than i could with the carburator.. i made an extra 200 rwhp with the fuel injection over the best tunup i ever had with the blowthrough carb system

i dont mess with 20 b motors internally, too much money for my blood to be messing with those.. the crank is 2 pc. and i know a later model 20b (c,d,e model) is the better ones to use.. please check the 20 b section as you will find lots of usefull information there.. link to 20 b section https://www.rx7club.com/forumdisplay.php?f=95

Do you offer boost prepping services for sidedraft Dellortos? Also, until I get around to a turbo set up, what jets would you recommend for a 48 Dellorto on a stock ported 12A with a RB streetport exhaust system?

thanks for the advice ill get back to you and let you know if it was the problem
Suddenly the oil pressure on my 13-b engine decrease from 100psi at 3200rpm to 45psi at same rpms, I already check the o-ring at the front housing and replace it but still the same pressure, the engine is fresh with new rotor and main bearings , the front oil pressure regulator is 1/8 shimmed to keep up with the rear regulator which is a high performance regulator from racing beat, could it be the oil pump or any other thing that might be causing the oil pressure decreasing

ohhh, not good... something is wrong.. talk to your motor builder

once the carb is turbo prepped you can run it with boost or n/a without any issues
